My problem is that I can easily come up with the imagery and mood I want for a story, but not a plot

Theoretically, if I move out of my parents’ house and become my own person, and then in a couple years, I get top surgery, I can probably hide that from everybody, right? How obvious can it be, if you wear the right clothes? Women have small chests all the time. The only way my parents would find out is if they wanted to go to the beach together or something. Which I could avoid.
