Ibn Hibban
Hiç derdi olmayanın sevinci olmaz; sabretmeyenin tadı olmaz; zahmetsiz nimet olmaz; yorulmadan da rahat edilmez.
- Miftahu Daris-Saade - İbn Kayyim El-Cevziyye
"Joy and delight: there is no joy for one who has no concern, nor any delight for one who has no patience. There is no comfort for one who has no hardship, nor any rest for one who has no toil. Rather, when the servant grows weary a little and endures the hardship of patience for a short while, it leads him to eternal life. And everything in it is for the people of everlasting bliss the fruit of an hour’s patience. Allah is the One sought for help, and there is no power nor strength except through Allah."

"The wise person should rectify himself and keep away from sinful behavior by using his taqwa and righteous deeds. Therefore, if his body is not acting piously, he must reign it in and control it with his heart, because the actions of the limbs are purified by the purification of the heart."
|The Garden of the Wise and The Meadow of the Virtuous|
"If a person's haya' is firm, his dignity will be preserved and his goodness will be well known. But whoever's haya' departs will lose his happiness. Whoever loses his happiness becomes insignificant and disliked by the people, and whoever becomes disliked is hurt, and whoever is hurt becomes depressed. Whoever becomes depressed loses their reasoning, and whoever's reasoning is affected then most of his speech will be against him rather than for him. There is no cure for someone who has no haya', and there is no haya' for someone with no loyalty. There is no loyalty for someone with no brotherhood, and whoever has nono hayā' does and says whatever he likes."

«looking at Allāh»
It was narrated that Jabor bin 'Abdullāh said:
"The Messenger of Allāh said:
'While the people of Paradise are enjoying their blessings, a light will shine upon them, and they will raise their heads, and they will see their Lord looking upon them from above.
He will say:
"Peace be upon you, O people of Paradise."
This is what Allāh says in the verse:
"Salām (peace be upon you) - a Word from the Lord (Allāh), the Most Merciful."
He will look at them, and they will look at Him, and they will not pay any attention to the delights (of Paradise) so long as they look at Him, until He will screen Himself from them. But His light and blessing will remain with them in their bodies.'."
Sunan Ibn Mājah 184
«loneliness and gloom intensified»
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
"Whenever sins increase, loneliness/gloom intensifies."
Jawab al-Kāfi: 22
Allah made 4 months (Dhul Qadah, Dhul Hijah, Muharram and Rajab) especially sacred and their sanctity is great and every sin done within them is more severe and every righteous deed done within them is greatly rewarded.
[Lataif Al Ma'arif Pg. 206]
Ibn al-Qayyim said: "Never think that guidance comes from intelligence, effort, or lineage. If Allah were to leave a servant to himself for even a moment, he would perish. Guidance is from Allah alone, and firmness upon it is a gift He bestows upon whom He wills." -Madarij al-Salikin
«misery as a result of laziness»
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
"The people who are lazy are more generally found to be plagued by concerns, worries, and low spirits. They rarely find delight and joy in their condition as opposed to those who are committed to putting forth efforts and working in their affairs."

"So ˹always˺ remind ˹with the Quran˺—˹even˺ if the reminder is beneficial ˹only to some˺.
Those in awe ˹of Allah˺ will be mindful ˹of it˺.
But it will be shunned by the most wretched,
who will burn in the greatest Fire,
where they will not ˹be able to˺ live or die."
(87:9-13)
"We send down the Quran as a healing and mercy for the believers, but it only increases the wrongdoers in loss."
(17:82)
