“You’ve got quite the accent there.” Elsie points out in amusement. It was gentle, thick, and warm like fresh harvested honey. Yet, it differed drastically from her Carolinian one. “From where abouts do you hail?” 

“... Kansas,” Dean answers cautiously, smiling but more nerve-filled. Then, to top off his incertitude, adds, “Lawrence, Kansas. It’s a free state!” should he perhaps be accused of something... tyrannical based on his appearance, or voice.

“You were searching for me?” She subconsciously questions. No one ever sought her out. She was Rey from no where, from nothing. 

“... Yeah. See, I heard a hunter was after you and-” He stopped, becoming aware of not having properly introduced himself. “I’m a hunt saboteur. Dean Winchester. Apparently you stole somethin’ pretty valuable from some geeks one time or another and they hired help to get it back... Questions?”

If this isn’t the most adorable character you’ve ever met… you are wrong

After a moment of studying them, Tubbs inquires, “so you want to tell me what it is?”

“May I come in?” The pale brunette twirled the belted closure on his robe. (Recently, he’d taken to wearing one to bed, finding out the hard way that the trench coat which he usually wore-- otherwise-- was not conducive to total-body comfort).
