“Is it….all over?” Dagna asked, heat burning her cheeks. 

“Can I touch?”

Eridant chuckled at the dwarven mage, “What a question. Yes, it is. I needed almost all of my skin for the pattern I choose.” He moved, allowing the silver tattoos to shimmer slightly and let another side of the pattern come to light.

Dagna reached for the closest, most innocuous part she could touch and ran her fingers over Eridant’s stomach. It felt, cool and yet pulsating, like touching the surface of water as it ran. 

“Wow...” she whispered, gently stroking the lines of ink along his torso. 

“Where I grew up you weren’t allowed to get tattoos. Only criminals and those of the lowest caste had them. But I met some people who make such beautiful art with their skin. It’s delicious! Let me see!”

“What a waste of potential.” Eridant commented, “You’ve seen the tattoos on my face. I have them all over my body. Many Shal’dorei, especially those who actively practice magic, have them.”

Eridant removed his robe, exposing his upper body. Silver lines that almost seemed to glow run over his exposed torso and arms. They were shaped in lines and circles that emulated the arcane patterns, with runes and magical writing inside the circles, all in the same silver color. It seemed that the only free space were the palms of his hands.

“Is it....all over?” Dagna asked, heat burning her cheeks.

Dagna immediately stopped pulling and smoothed the hair down on Adam’s chest. 

“Oop sorry! Ok no more pulling I promise.” 

She leaned down, placing her chin in his chest and lazily tracing her finger over his arms and shoulder. 

“Is he a Mabari?  I used to be so scared of them. They’re so big! Templars kept a small kennel at the Fereldan Circle. One of the females got pregnant though and I helped my friend care for her. They’re just big, slobbery babies!” 

Adam laughed a bit as it didn’t really hurt that much and smiled at Dagna, his arm went around her small, soft frame and he kissed the top of her head. “Yes he is a mabari…he is like  big child sometimes, pouting and being stubborn..but he has helped me in various battles and fights .I don’t know what I would have done without him.”

He sighed and really enjoyed this lazy moment when there was no hurry to anywhere and no one wanted their attention. “You know I thought about you a lot when I was away…and I saw even few dreams about you…” he murmured and nuzzled his chin against her hair. 

“Aww you dreamed about me? I wish I could say the same.” Dagna sighed as she let her body drop over to Adam’s side.

“I keep walking through cold spots and going, I wonder who that used to be?”

The Mabari barked and wagged his tail at the Dagna. He was decorated in kaddis ‘Lady of the Skies’, and he nudged at her hand. Petting was always welcomed!
