MY BOYFRIEND IS ON A PLANE HALF WAY AROUND THE WORLD ON THE WAY TO COME SEE ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can’t believe I’m 20 and my mother is still really out here invalidating my feelings, I shouldn’t have to hang up the phone and feel guilty for having reached out to her, I should have to feel like I’m not allowed to feel the way I do.

I am devastated that I finally met someone who is equally as serious about me as I am him, and it’s a month before I leave AGAIN. When I had to leave my first love to go to college, someone told me I’d meet someone that made me realise that it wasn’t love with him, and now I have. My first love broke up with me because he knew I’d be leaving in a month, I told him we could make it work if we loved each other enough, he said he’d done long distance before and he just quit before I had even left. Now I have someone who, after knowing me three weeks is already talking about helping me get through the summer when I move back in a year and a half, and who’s willing to fly 40 hours to come visit me in the winter. It’s so frustrating how timing works but I know that there are an infinite amount of scenarios that could have happened on the night we met that could have made us never meet, so I’m positive the universe has a plan for us, and I know there’s a reason we met so late. I just have to keep remembering that the chances of us meeting were too slim to be a coincidence, and that everything will work out
