August 3, 2026 My day of decision
Okay so I’ve never done anything like this before so I’m flying blind
I’m 18, just got kicked out of my Muslim household for daring to want to go to college (especially as a young woman), even worse that college happens to be in nyc (pace uni) and tuition is due in 6 days (8,500 for my fall semester) I’m doing everything I can. I was never allowed to work before but I’ve managed to open up a debit card, I’m doing online surveys everyday, applying to scholarships and aid, attempting to take out loans, and applying to any and all work.
Sitting in this dingy motel in Houston is depressing and scary and I’m not asking for a miracle just a few dollars here and there to maybe close the gap. Whatever you can, whenever you can.
