So a little life update since I went on a short, unexpected hiatus. To put it simply: I overworked myself (through my art and personal life) and got very sick for a bit. I have a growth on my finger that makes it painful for me to draw, but I will try to and take breaks here and there. For the last few days I have been mildly medicated, and still am, so please excuse any grammar or spelling mistakes.

I’m working on a commission sheet currently, but it could take some time before I upload it :3

To be honest, I have no clue what TW to put here so read with caution guys.

I just remembered how, about 2 years ago, my sister and I were walking right by the beach. Now, we live nowhere close to the beach so this was a treat for us, so I was minding my own business, listening to music and looking out at the water. My sister suddenly caught my attention though when she said turn around and grabbed me by the arm so we could go back in the opposite direction. I was about to ask her exactly WHY we should go back until I hear a grown ass man shout “Hey, what are you running away for?”. Reminder, I was around 16 at the time and there were around 3 men in this group. My sister and I probably walked for over 1km, till the point where we were literally on the beach itself, and up to groups of people so we could shake them off. ONLY then did they turn around, shout “We live right up here if you want a good time.” and left us alone.

We were paranoid for the whole rest of the trip, so didn’t even enjoy it, and got brushed off when we brought it up. “Just enjoy the attention you got” or “That isn’t even that bad” were some of the responses we got.

So always be aware of your surroundings and stay in groups or around people. And if your country allows it, PLEASE carry some type of self defence weapon/spray/etc.
