my brain just gave me the most diabolical idea. i am the one (reprise) but its kaz (danโs part) and wylan (gabeโs part) both working through their respective grief (kaz with jordie, wylan with believing his mother was dead for years and his father being jan van fuckface). wylan suggests they compose a song together (bc he can tell kaz is also struggling but being kaz he wonโt say a single thing) and then the result is i am the one (reprise) oh im sad.
i think that kaz is the kind of person who haaaaates the heat and always says he wishes it was cold, but as soon as it gets cold he complains about it being too cold (im projecting? never ๐)
