Aqob is the musical persona of portuguese artist Tiago Henriques. A producer, musician, label manager and all-round MIDI-geek, whose passion for the bleep has produced a series of recordings, most of which can be heard on our catalogue. Aqob's music and remixes have been released on Carpe Sonum, Question of Time, Arctic Dub, Elements, and Renaissance, among others, and he also co-produced Womblabel's acclaimed compilation album "All Things Converge". Working mostly as a solo artist, he's been part of electronic groups NavE and SansCPU, lately part of the open improvised electronics collective Desterronics. With a bias towards the quieter sounds and rhythms, Aqob opened our second showcase as a dj, setting the mood for Angular Momentum's concert. Enjoy!
