Yeah that Flower Man And His Friends™ beat my ass pretty good in the final battle :) . (I mean not only in the final battle, but ... mostly there.) Exhausting Flowery's dialogue felt pretty rewarding however as I think it gave even more insight to Ralsei, which was interesting. He doesn't even know what he wants, huh?

OST contains a variation of Bergentrückung / Asgore

It's one of my favourite UT themes, so I was pleased to hear it back in "Flower King" / "That Day". Even though the context in which these tracks appear are somehow even more depressing...

Idk if I worded that well, but two children walking straight into a lake definitely was not on my bingo card... (or I guess it was???) I read an interesting comment stating that 'abandoning' the weird route at this point - as in not smashing "Proceed" in the lake - has it branching off into the "twisted route" (in reference to the Twisted Sword that needs both the Pure Crystal and Thorn Ring to be made), which is a fusion of both the normal and weird route which is. quite terrifying to think about !!! I hate it!

Nicepants meet at the festival but it's sad? :(

I was hoping for that exact kind of confrontation! It was good! And painful! Nicecream guy apparently giving up his friendship with Bratty in the same moment added some extra sting, delicious. Now I need everyone to make up and kiss. (Catty being kind of oblivious / sweet??? in her own way all the while, was kind of hilarious though.)

Seeing Susie's home / Susie sleeps over in her Castle Town room / Ending that makes ME want to rip my heart out

I admit I full-on cried at the end of the chapter once I realized (after going several wrong directions first) where Susie wanted us to walk her. I found it heart-breaking to see that she considers Castle Town her 'real' home now. Just what is her family like that she rather chooses to spend multiple nights (this must be at least the third in a row now) somewhere else? Also, while it's wonderful Susie has a place to stay safe and be happy with her Darkner friends ... something about it just feels, painful. To know it's ultimately escapism. That it likely won't last. And what will become of her heart, once that day comes? I am scared for her. (This "glass" flavour text seems to foreshadow a time where she can't return there anymore and is forced to stay in her apartment again: You thought you saw Susie in a far-off window, unkempt and glaring.)

Ralsei's room gaining personality

That was nice. :) For a recovering - and often times relapsing - people pleaser, witnessing Ralsei throughout this chapter was a real joy. I also liked how he struggled to find a good balance of being more angry / sarcastic (like when he started teasing Orange) without overdoing it. Extremely relatable fluffy boy prince princess.

Overall I really enjoyed Chapter 5 but I also feel very empty now haha. The build-up is kiling me.
