After parking his car, Kangmin checked his notifications. No response. Uncommon for her, but he figured she had her reasons. Putting his phone back in his pockets, he exited the black sedan and walked towards the building. A smile formed on his face the second he saw her face, but quickly fell when he noticed the person with her. He stopped for a moment watching the exchange before approaching her once the other pulled off in their car.
"Who's that?" He asked. Kangmin tried to appear collected, but his stance and tone were clearly bothered - jealous.
April wasnβt going to go on a date, hell, she came up with reasons to not go and relax at her apartment. But she figured it was better than to get loser into another tv show or wait around for Kangmin to text her. So when she allowed her date to kiss her on the lips and watched as they drove off, she was going to turn and head in until the voice of the one who often takes over her mind.
βThatβsβ¦Connor,β she said as she adjusted her purse strap on her shoulder. βJust got done having dinner and went bowling.β She didnβt know why she was even sharing the details, maybe she liked the fact he was getting jealous of her seeing someone.

Checking his phone for a moment before letting out a sigh before putting away his phone and moving forward to clean the bar top off and then looking to his final customers for his shift. "Any final refills or something you want to share? I've got a bit longer in my shift and I want to make sure it's the best for both of us." Marco spoke with a grin on his face, leaning gently against the bar, always giving his best foot forward every night as at the end of the day, he enjoyed his job.
"Well since you're offering, I could use another cosmo, unless you have another drink of choice you are willing to make for me. Surprise me." April said as she moved her empty glass forward on the bar, it has been a long day for her and her feet were killing her from practically standing all day doing people's hair.

"Perfect, I enjoy a good chinese food. I'm still finding places around here I enjoy eating. So far, no disappointment on my end." April was a big foodie and enjoyed dishing into a good food choice. Which was probably why she rarely cooked at home, not because she didn't want to do the dishes after, okay maybe that was a big one.
"That's the place. Just go onto their website and book under my name." April grinned, "I'll make sure you come out looking hotter than usual and have some heads turning your way once I'm done with you."
Victoriaβs eyes rolled naturally. She was a control freak but she certainly didnβt want to admit it, especially to April. βOop,β Tori turned too her. βIs there anyone you have your sights on?β She asked curiously, before shrugging. βI came with my friend, Iβll be leaving with her just depends if we wanna stay passed midnight.β @aprilxrose
"Hmm...a few, but particularly one. We'll see though, I always say getting a kiss at midnight is kind of cliche and lame. Why kiss a stranger and welcome the new year with a person you don't plan on having around." April questioned with a laugh, maybe she was a little cynical but it didn't make sense in her head. "I'm honestly probably going to leave too, my tub of ben and jerry's is calling my name."

"When my mom took me with her to her job, it was so interesting to see behind the scenes of putting together an art show. I was just in awe of the many art pieces being picked and chosen to be displayed and the fact I was just a little girl in a world full of grown ups who seemed like they had their life together. But now being an adult, I realize that there is much more to be put into that sort of work."

"Tattoos. I can go on about tattoos, especially the art design. Something about it always gets me excited to discuss. That was one of the many reasons I enjoyed being a tattoo artist. Getting to talk with your client about the design they want and being able to see it come to life. But now it's hair for me, being shown inspo pics of hair possibilities. I just want to make my clients happy."
hopscotch β does your muse like to work out? if not, how else do they move their body from day to day?
"Does sex count? If not, I do enjoy a good cardio. Something about running clears my head."

"I set up a studio in my house, I only do it for friends," And family, but Maia didn't have much of that here. "You should pop by, I've got some space left on my arms you can tattoo on." April liked the fact Maia offered for her to get back in touch with her first skill she fell in love with, tattooing would always hold a special place in her heart. "I would love that actually, see if I still got the touch and all." She said laughing lightly. "I have some space you can add if you'd like, we can have a little tattooing party. Except you know just us two unless you want to invite anyone?"
"I was up for the challenge, per usual." April shrugged, "Also I like creating something someone would love, I mean I got that with tattooing but cosmetology is different and the fact clients tend to spill more about their details on their lives in a salon chair."
"Do you know how boring your life would be without me?" Kangmin chuckled lightly, before clinking his glass with hers. "To many more birthday and at least three rounds tonight. Think you can handle?" he grinned before taking the shot.
"Is that a challenge?" She asked with a teasing smile at him, she knew the night was still young and between the both of them, things never seem to be a dull moment. "I suppose we'll just have to see how the night goes, who knows maybe you'll get whiskey dick and I'll just tuck you into bed."
Victoria turns to April, screwing up her nose. "This is fucking weird, right?" Them, getting along she meant. Usually Victoria being the bossy bitch she was was always trying to tell April how to do her job even if she hadn't stuck with hairdressing. "Us getting along." She clarified, taking the last sip of her champagne. tuning back to the bar for a refill. "You're not so bad, I guess." @aprilxrose
"I could say the same thing to you," April said in response. It was definitely weird but she couldn't complain because that just meant she wasn't picking an argument with Victoria about how she was micromanaging a position she doesn't even have the skills for.
He smiled and leaned down to meet her lips. Kangmin licked his lips as he pulled back. "I'll save the other two for later." he whispered close to her ear with a smirk toying on his lips. One thing he did know, he was going to take full advantage of those little wishes. Shortly after, the bartender placed the two shots on the counter for them. He picked them up and handed one to April. "I don't know what to cheer for, but I guess to a fun birthday night?"
"Obviously we have to cheer for your birthday," She accepted the shot glass and smiled up at him. "Because today is a very important day for you being brought into this world and well torturing me with your existence." She teased lightly as she raised her glass to clink against his.
"Oh," Maia was sad to hear it, April was extremely talented. "So you're working at the salon then I guess?" She asked, her head tilting out of curiosity. Seeing April had quite obviously thrown her for a loop. "I'm okay, I mean I'm divorced, now. I inherited a cute little boutique so I'm not tattooing anymore either. I miss it though, I bet you do too." @aprilxrose
"I miss it a lot to be honest," April admitted, she found herself designing small tattoo ideas but the idea of going back into tattooing was very rare. She enjoyed styling hair and tattooing was a thing of the past for her. "But a boutique? Now that is something I never thought I would hear you say."

"I feel like I've had sparkles and Christmas trees coming out my asshole." It was their busiest time of year and by now, Tori should have been well prepared for the Christmas rush but she never was. How she was still standing and out for new years eve was still a question she didn't quite know the answer too. Not getting along with April didn't specifically help but it was okay when they weren't working. @aprilxrose
"I mean....that could always be the possibility." April said laughing. Although she didn't care much for Victoria at work, outside is still a weird wavelength. Maybe it was because they always butt heads at work that now they were outside of work, where did they go from there.
