@apricity-writes and I made two gals through this picrew by @ummmmandy than exchanged them to draw in our own styles! Along with characteristics (like dog mom) and background stories. This is how one of her gals turned out, Iris Casale and her (sausage) Link. Also forgive the unshaded Link, I'm still learning how to shade/draw animals so he's in rough shape right now.
Still, I really liked how she came out and so did Apricity! This was really fun to do amidst the summer class stress. Art history research papers are sooooo fun....

Erend buries an immediate scoff into the edge of the flask—and then pulls another long draught, almost frantic to get it down. He mulls over the last mouthful of it a moment, or acts like it, anyways. He's been nursing this thing since he first limped up to Barren light hours ago, and it's tasted like ash in his mouth the whole time.
Still. He doesn't look up at her—knows he'll do something he'll regret, like asking her why she left in the first place, or remember another time he had looked up at her with his thoughts clouded by drink and grief—and keeps his gaze wandering somewhere along the dusty cobblestones beneath her feet.
"Dulls out the worst of the hurt."
Aloy's feet shift from where she's standing again. Her voice shifts too, softer. Soft in a way he hasn't heard in a long time, and somehow the sound of it hits him worse than the bristleback.
"Are your ribs really that bad?"
Forge damn him.
Erend pulls up his chin and looks at her, too tired to fight himself out of the want to, and finally meets her eye.
"That wasn't the hurt I was talking about."
