Where's the #puppy ? 🙈

We adopted #appa from a rescue organization when he was 12wks old. He was described as a mastiff x sharpei. He was a big puppy, but stopped growing at 6 months. Worried that we were doing something wrong, we had him #dna tested so we can tailor his food and care based on what his breed needs. And this is how we came to know that Appa is neither mastiff nor sharpei, but a true #mixedbreed of #shibainu x #collie x mixed breed ( #germansheperd etc). We love him no matter what, but it was truly helpful for us knowing where he got his traits from, and knowing what to watch out for medically 🐶
