You’ve got to give it to the redhead - it’s been 50 years and she’s never said a word. She remained independent of him throughout their relationship, when about a world-jul of women would have done whatever it took to keep Paul McCartney as their own. He did and does like very strong women, just like John. 

I’ve always felt that Paul loved Jane’s family more than Jane. She was too proper and stuck up for him. John hated that about her and Paul’s family did too. Not much is said about how Jim didn’t care for Jane but he didn’t. He thought she came off as a privileged Londoner and looked down at him and his family. When Paul says ‘they didn’t click’ this is what he meant!

CLEMENT 'CLEM' BURKE (1954-Died April 6th 2025,at 70). American musician best known as the drummer for the band Blondie from 1975, shortly after the band formed, throughout the band's entire career, and remained in the band until his death; he appeared on all of the band's albums along with two founding members, Debbie Harry and Chris Stein.
