Nothing. You get it fixed, or you don’t. Whatevs.

You know what actually happens when you are depressed or sick or on your period and don’t cook dinner?

Nothing. You still get to eat something, nobody scolds you, it doesn’t have any real bearing on your future success, and you don’t get soft shunned for a week by your family.

You know what actually happens when you break stuff, forget stuff, get sick, fall asleep, are rude, miss a flight, don’t know how to do XYZ thing on fixing cars or canning food or whatever, lose things, get lost because you can’t read a map and forgot to charge your phone, buy the wrong groceries, plant the wrong plants, not make your bed, make your bed wrong, jump on your bed, sleep on your bed, eat crackers in your bed, have emotions literally anywhere?

Nothing.

Nothing happens.

No one is mad.

No one can hurt you, and if they do there are laws saying they can’t and that it’s an actual crime with legal consequences.

All there are are outcomes and different paths and different problems and different situations and you just bumble your way forward into dealing with those and that’s it. That’s the whole thing. It’s not the wrong choice, having problems isn’t indicative of your inherent badness or inadequacy or lack of applying yourself. It’s just life, and it’s happening to literally everyone.

I’m not even kidding.

You just do stuff and nothing bad happens. Walk around existing? Nothing bad will happen. Wild.

I got told to "take care of it soon please" and let go with a warning. Today I went to the DMV and paid a $5 late fee along with the 2-year fee for registration, got new plates and stickers and that was that.

A year late. No big deal. No one was shocked or appalled. It was just a thing that happened and then I took care of it. No biggie.

 In the first panel, Kyoshi and Rangi are shown facing the viewer. Lek, Kirima, and Wong are visible in the foreground facing away, and the background is a mountain range done in various shades of blue and green. Kyoshi has her hands on her hips and is asking “So what are all your skills?” Kyoshi is wearing the outfit gifted to her by Kelsang, a loose sleeveless green tunic with a grey metal belt over a long-sleeved dark green shirt, and has her makeup absent save for red eyeliner and lipstick. She has light brown skin and freckles, and her long dark brown hair is placed in a bun at the base that rests on her right shoulder. Rangi, who has pale skin, is wearing her Fire Nation Academy uniform, with part of her hair gathered into a topknot adorned with a black metal rod. Wong can be seen wearing a gold earring in the shape of two interwined circles on his left ear. 

In the second panel, Kirima is shown with her arms held out waterbending several sheets of ice and responding “I’m a deadly fighter” with a serious expression. She is wearing a green tunic with gold trim with a brown belt trimmed with white fur that has two strips of fabric on either side. She has long dark brown hair placed in a braid over her left shoulder, tied with a green band, and light brown skin. 

In the third panel, Lek is shown giving a thumbs-up and saying “I’m a master marksman.” There is a gold sparkle beside his left eye, and he is grinning. He has pale skin and is wearing a dark green tunic with a light brown scarf and armbands, and has short dark brown hair. 

In the fourth panel, Wong is shown fluttering a gold fan in front of his face while saying “And I…make good life decisions.” He is wearing a sleeveless green tunic with extensive gold trim, and has a gauze scarf tied around his neck. He has light brown skin, a shaved head, dark brown eyes, and a neutral expression. In addition to the gold interlocking earring from before, two more small golden ring earrings on the top of his ear are visible. 

In the fifth panel, Kyoshi and Rangi are shown standing beside each other. Rangi is looking at Kyoshi quizzically, and Kyoshi is holding her left arm out with her index finger crooked indicating confusion, and is saying “Umm, that’s not really…”
