Since you are in university, you are surrounded by people who are much younger than Hange.Meaning, in Hange’s eyes, people who are more likely to understand your age groups’ humour and interests.

This naturally makes Hange feel insecure as they feel as though someone else much younger could easily come and sweep you off your feet.

So when Hange came to pick you up in their car and saw some girl, who was exactly your type to a tee, talking to you. An unpleasant feeling arose in their stomach.

Being reasonable and un-rash, not wanting to seem like the jealous older girlfriend. Hange ignored it. Until, they kept seeing that same girl.

Every time they picked you up they always saw you and her in a deep conversation and it was certainly getting to a point.

One day Hange casually asked you who it was and you told them that you and that girl were just working on a group project that was graded- so you had to speak with her.

Although what you said made complete logical sense to Hange, they still did not feel satisfied nor comfortable but they just went along with it anyway not wanting to interfere with your studies.

Praying that the project would soon be over Hange would just grip the wheel every time they picked you up and saw you talking to that same girl.

Well..until they saw the girl hand you flowers.

This was the final straw, Hange's right hand flew to the center pad of the stirring wheel and beeped the car so loud that everyone surrounding you were startled.You dropped the flowers unable to respond to the girl.Immediately, you disregarded the flowers and ran to the car. Leaving the girl with no response, not wanting to upset Hange more.

As soon as you got in the car you try and explain but Hange sharply cuts you off saying that they "don't want to hear it".They grip the stirring wheel so tight you see their knuckles go white and when they need to turn, the car turns so sharply that you need to grip the car seat.

The whole ride is silent and when you reach your home the silence doesn't change.As soon as you enter, you immediately rush your words saying that you had "no idea" to which is no avail to Hange's pent up jealousy.

This results in a back and forth argument, to which you hear phrases from your lover such as, "how the fuck could you have not known" and "god you are such an oblivious girl".

If you ended up crying, Hange would immediately stop spewing insults but wouldn't immediately comfort you.Instead they would just retract and go elsewhere in the house for a bit to cooldown themselves.

A few hours of space go between the both of you and you are curled up on your shared bed sobbing- as you truly had no idea

The door slowly creeks open and Hange comes to sit on the side of your bed with your back facing them.

They gently wrap their arms around you and whisper in your ear about how sorry they were and how they shouldn't have lashed out.

Their fingers stroke and comb through your hair and they press gentle kisses to your head, almost begging for forgiveness.

You turn around to face Hange and their hand finds its way to the back of your neck, bringing you to their chest.
