Lol, I was wondering when it would be posted. For a second, I was wondering if I actually submitted it or if THAT was part of the dream (I woke up in a fugue state, frantically wrote it down and submitted it, then went back to sleep).
I still think it’s very funny, as are the responses.
Like, the fuckin’ phrasing of “Chat, did I fumble a baddie” about your OWN MOM is INSANE. It’s got me tearing up laughing even now as I’m writing this. Also the sheer obliviousness of the person who submitted it, not knowing why their family would be awkward and uncomfortable, not comprehending the situation at all. It’s so stupid.
It should go without saying that I do not condone incest. I think this was, like, the dream equivalent of an “intrusive thought”.

Dear Mod H,
Would you consider having the ask box open for a longer period of time, even if it was just an occasional thing? Ever since you switched to the weekends-only schedule, I feel like I don't have enough time for my polls to marinate in my brain. It's nice that it's predictable, but the weekend is over before I know it and I have to wait another week.
If not it's okay, I know you are trying to not be overwhelmed with polls

While I appreciate that I don't see it changing unfortunately. I open asks on the weekend simply because I have more time to scan through them to see if time sensitive things are waiting. And with running the poll tournament I've shortened it even more so sorry about that. The submission section is always open if that works for you.

I'm tempted to submit a hyperspecific poll with all the options being "I submitted this poll" and they're all polls that I submitted, so I could "catch" everyone who doesn't answer honestly.
(Mostly as a joke but also I submitted a real one of those back when it was a thing and there were some options that were waaay too specific and it was almost impossible that anyone else would have experienced it, let alone a bunch of people, but that's what the results showed, and I was salty that the "none of these apply to me" percentage wasn't higher 😅)

There are most of the time. Sometimes I admit when I add submissions (not polls through the asks) I usually skip the date part.
