why are you here you'll find nothing intetesting

this takes place in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world. ten years ago, the world was plagued by an undead epidemic, kind of similar to zombies or vampires (who do NOT exist in this world though). these undead are characterized by being skinned. in this world, between skin and muscle vital energy (which gives life and allows magic to be used) is stored. those who are skinless are thus unable to retain vital energy and need to constantly feed themselves energy by eating living beings's skin, thus furthening the epidemic.

cut to the present day and the epidemic, despite allowing civilization to persist, has spread to the whole known world, especially in the highly populated regions. during all these years the authorities did next to nothing to end the problem, except for unsuccessfully looking for a cure.

...but what if a cure did, in fact, exist? this is what a group of five kids are going to ask themselves. coming from very different backgrounds and brought together by destiny, they are going to join their forces and look for a cure to save the world

oh my gOD can you tell i have no idea what i'm doing? like i felt bad having her floating in white void so i thought let's put an aestethic bg but i'm not an ✨️aestethic gworlie✨️ so the Great Wave is the best i could've done. but THEN she looked even worse floating in front of some waves so i tried giving the bottom a melty look??? and it looks legit to me but then again its almost 5 am so idk.

also i feel like i should say that this isn't a new drawing, it has actually been sitting in my flipaclip projects for months (togetger with my 93647282 other wips) waiting to get a decent bg so it could be posted lol. the original was a drawing i made on my math textbook, i'm putting that too at the bottom
