You gotta love Iris van Herpen’s experimental textile work, with 3D printers and architectural high concepts (you’ve seen her work, of course, on Björk, for one). For Paris Couture this week, her vision was refined and pretty as it’s ever been, transforming models into magical jellyfishes, octopi and crustaceans on impossible shoes. A comment on The Little Mermaid? Warning to any potential future husbands: I’m wearing her to our wedding(s). (It’s for tax purposes!)
