Kahapon pag.scroll ko sa fb account ko nakita ko ung classmate ko nung college na “in a relationship”. Tapos ako “oh?? Iba na bf niya?” . Kaya ganyan reaction ko kasi kahit di kami close, seeing their past posts of their relationship, aaminin ko I’m a fan. :) Kaya bukod sa gulat, medyo nalungkot ako na iba na pala ang bf niya.
Kaninang umaga may ganun din ako feeling. Narealize ko lang ang blessed ko pala talaga sa bf ko. Going 6 years na kami. And sobrang seldom namin magpost sa Social Media, while them na lagi may post ng date, na sweet and all that stuff that couple people do para masabing “ok kami” “going strong” ay biglang magpopost na lang na iba na pala bf o gf. Di man lang pinost na nag-away sila o nagkakalabuan na sila. Sana meron din “is now not in a relationship with” — para aware naman ung mga tao na sumuporta sa lovestory niyo sa fb na nagtapos na pala ang kwento. Hayst.
The more I appreciate my relationship with my bf, though we seldom post anything on SM, at least he makes sure that we’re really okay. We’re not perfect, but everyday by the grace of God, we choose to understand each other. We are different, differences that we cannot always tolerate. But we are blessed because despite of it, we are still together — with a different reasons but a common purpose. To serve God and not each other. To put our commitment to God more than each other and to forgive and love each other just like what Christ did for us on the Cross.
When you have that knowledge, you will humble yourself down and you will never take ownership of anyone. They are there because God allowed it to happen, He loves us so much that He allowed good people to be with us ❤️
