My OCs Russel and Stanley are human men but I love to put them in scenarios including this one where they become magical shapeshifters who can turn into weird sphinx-lion-bird beasts.
They get silly in beast mode. rough-housing and nonsense occurs
#the problem is that i love them sooooo so much <3#their eyes are only blue/yellow in sphinx form. it matches their magic. when they're human their eyes are still brown#Stan (smaller fatter lion) has hawk wings. Russel (the disturbed napper) has wings more like a seabird#they look pretty similar as sphinx beasts all things considered tho cause they share a lil bit of their maaaagic#(Russel's white chest fluff and white wings are cause he also has some other mage's magic as well)#(which makes him a lot stronger) (but also he has it cause he almost diiiiiied oopsies)#anyway yeah they get up to shenanigans when they are big huge lion monsters. they release their inhibitions#attack one another and romp and whatnot as brothers do
