Do you ever try to think back about something but find your mind completely empty? Like when I think back about my childhood, their is an empty space i can't quite explain. I thought of when I was a kid and cut my clothes and my mom gave me a beating but after that memory, I can't seem to remember what happened next. Its like a dark space just appears. Now, I understand how the subconscious works, that everything can't be remembered and the memories randomly okay to you. But because of my curiosity, I find myself trying to cover that dark space with memory rewrite. I don't know if that makes sense but I want to understand how memories work as you said you can't forget a memory but again it keeps rewriting its self even if its slightly different, I find my self noticing the slight difference and yet I can't figure out what its missing because my mind goes dark.

Yes this blackout can happen because your brain is sometimes trying to protect you by making certain memories difficult to consciously access.

This is often referred to as dissociative amnesia or memory repression, although scientists usually use the term dissociative amnesia (because repression (as an unconscious mechanism) is much harder to prove experimentally).

Dissociative amnesia is a response that can happen after overwhelming stress or trauma, where the brain temporarily blocks conscious access to certain memories or periods of life.

From what we currently understand in neuroscience, traumatic experiences are not erased from the brain. Basically during an extremely stressful event, your brain releases large amounts of stress hormones like cortisol and adrenaline. These chemicals affect areas such as the hippocampus (which is responsible for organizing memories into a coherent “timeline”), the amygdala (which processes fear and emotional significance) and the prefrontal cortex (which helps you consciously recall and make sense of experiences). When these systems become overwhelmed, the memory may be stored in a fragmented or disconnected way.

Because of that, your brain can struggle to retrieve it later, almost like a book that still exists in a library but whose location has been misplaced in the catalog.

That is why some people describe trying to remember certain periods of their life as staring into complete darkness. They know something happened, but whenever they try to look beyond a certain point, their mind just goes blank. The memories are not gone, they are still there, the brain only has made them difficult to consciously access (either because they were never fully organized during the traumatic event or because keeping them out of awareness reduced emotional distress at the time).

I actually have a huge part of my own CR teenage years that feels exactly like that. That period was pretty traumatic and not easy to live through so there are entire months of my life here that feel incredibly blurry, and there are moments where my mind just goes completely blank if I try to think back.

Personally though, I never really wanted to remember those memories anyway, so I never tried to actively recover them.

But if you ever do want to try remembering those missing pieces, hypnosis is one option that some people explore.

Clinical hypnosis is a state of focused attention and deep relaxation where people become more absorbed in internal thoughts, sensations and mental imagery while remaining awake. Contrary to what movies show, you don't lose control of yourself or become unconscious (you attention becomes very focused which can make it easier to explore thoughts and memories that don't normally come to mind).

Scientists believe hypnosis may work because it reduces distractions from the outside world and allows the brain to access memories through different associations and pathways than ordinary conscious recall.

Since memories are stored as networks of connected information rather than recordings, hypnosis can sometimes help trigger memories by activating related emotions, sensations or images.

However, it's important to know that hypnosis does not guarantee accurate memories. The brain is reconstructive (meaning every time we remember something, we partially rebuild it instead of playing back an exact recording (because like I said, memories are stored as networks of connected information rather than recordings)). Because of this, hypnosis can sometimes give you the impression of remembering something that haven’t really happened. That's why if you wants to recover traumatic memories, it's generally safest to work with a licensed mental health professional (who is trained to avoid leading questions and false-memory effects). But you can always find people on YouTube creating hypnosis sessions (like subliminals) to recover memories.

Trauma-focused psychotherapy can sometimes help because creating a safe environment reduces the brain's need to keep certain memories disconnected. Journaling about the memories you do have can also help your brain build connections to surrounding events. Looking through old photographs, videos, messages or talking with trusted family members or friends who shared those experiences can provide cues that reactivate consciously forgotten memories.

Sometimes memories also return spontaneously when you revisit places, smells, songs or objects connected to that period of your life.

If i want to shift to be in a dangerous DR, i absolutely can and will. If i want to shift to date someone, i absolutely can and will. If I want to shift and so thing some people would consider atrocious, I absolutely can.

No matter what i CAN and WILL. Stop policing where others shift or what they shift for, rather use that energy to focus on your own shifting journey and why you still haven't achieved your goals. It will happen anyway so shut the fuck up you ignorant ass.

You don't need to do anything. What you really need to understand (especially because I believe (if im not mistaking you) that you've asked me a lot about scripts (which is totally fine btw)) is that a script is nothing, and it means nothing on its own.

It doesn't hold any special power, influence or importance. A script is simply a tool to help you organize your thoughts and intentions. That's all it is. It's basically just a journal where you write down ideas in a way that feels clear to you.

You don't need a script in the first place. You could have no script at all and it wouldn't stop or limit anything.

The script isn't what creates your experience, and it isn't what controls where you go or what happens.

It isn't a rulebook, it isn't a contract and it isn't something that dictates reality.

It has no power.

So if you successfully shift and later come back to your CR, you don't need to update your script with everything that happened. There's absolutely no requirement to rewrite it just because your experiences have changed.

The fact that your script still contains the "old" information doesn't mean anything or means that youll restart from the beginning the next time youll shift. You’ll shift gift “back” the the moment you “left” off.

Your experiences aren't stored inside a document, they're your experiences!

If you decide to update your script afterward, it's only because you want your notes to reflect what you’ve already experienced.

In that case, you’re simply updating what is essentially a journal so it matches your memories and helps you stay organized. But that's for your own convenience, not because it's necessary, and it doesn’t change or do anything.

So the answer is no. You don't have to do anything. Your script doesn't control your shifts, your memories, your experiences or anything, literally.

Im simply taking a break because I’m going on vacation.

Im going to start posting back in maybe a month, or less. But don’t worry, im coming back!

He basically explains how we can control our subconscious by using our brains primarily emotions such us happiness or shame etc.. could u please watch it because i struggle to explain to u myself , the most thing i liked about this video is that he explains in scientific research just like you !!

Anyways here’s what i do when i visualise:

First i imagine myself not locking in , not persisting , like me not listening to subliminals , me not affirming and doing typical loa stuff , and then i imagine myself not getting results because i am not persisting , this will make me feel negative emotions , hear me out , i know the typical answer would be ooh bad emotions noo you are manifesting them !!!!! , but these emotions make my brain engaged as if my life is in danger , you know the flight/flight thing and the way our evolutionary brain works , anyway , i do the next , i imagine myself persisting in loa and doing all the things like me affirming and listening to subliminals and actually actually getting results , this makes me feel really happy , so many positive emotions and genuinely feeling safe etc.. and i wont stop there i just keep imagining my future and all of my desires happening to me because i persisted in loa , this makes my brain believe that persisting and using loa is the way to survive and be safe , therefore my subconscious and conscious both are reeaalyy invested and engaged in what i do , and not just ignore it or not take it seriously, like my brain is locked in in what i want , besides the benefit of visualisation and its power , i know it is just a tool but rn doing this it is making me so content with my way of using loa , and at the end of the visualisation, i finish it with an action to confirm to my brain that we are on the right track and i Am safe and doing the right thing .

Like my process goes like this :

1- visualise me staying the same if i don’t persist = negative emotions=danger

2- visualise me getting what i want if i persist = positive emotions = safety

3- take action to confirm that IAm safe and i am on the right path of expectations

Do u think this is a good way to approach loa or this tool ?

I don’t mean danger in a dramatic way , just the ugly emotions of staying the same place , it’s not a good feeling generally, and i do this multiple times a day, with also using robotic affirming and listening to subliminals and basically doing so many things im comfortable with , i also don’t mean to make loa work because i know it works all the time , this is just a way for my brain to make it take me seriously hahhahaha , what do you think ? Hey so thank you for asking me and trusting me with your question 🫶 im really glad to hear that you like my advices!

I watched the video and while there are definitely a few things that could be argued or challenged, I don't think the general idea is completely wrong.

There are concepts in it that overlap with what we know about learning, conditioning, and motivation. But I also think the video oversimplifies a very complex subject, and because of that I personally wouldn't recommend using this approach without understanding what is actually happening.

One thing we do know from psychology and neuroscience is that the subconscious mind relies heavily on patterns, repetition and associations. Researchers like Ivan Pavlov (which he mentioned in his video) demonstrated associative learning through classical conditioning, while B.F. Skinner showed how repeated reinforcement shapes behavior through operant conditioning.

More recently, neuroscientists such as Antonio Damasio have shown that repeated experiences create neural associations that influence our automatic responses and decision-making.

And the Nobel Prize winner Daniel Kahneman describes how much of our everyday thinking is governed by fast, automatic mental processes that rely on learned patterns rather than deliberate reasoning.

Basically our subconscious is largely a prediction machine built on repetition, habits and associations. And our conscious mind cannot impact our subconscious mind the way he claims in the video.

Which is where I become skeptical, when he starts making claims about emotions as if they directly "control" the subconscious in the way it's presented.

The scientific evidence simply isn't that straightforward.

There is no consensus in neuroscience that specific emotions like shame or fear are a superior way of programming the subconscious. In fact, modern theories of emotion (such as Lisa Feldman Barrett's Theory of Constructed Emotion) argue that emotions are not universal commands hardwired into the brain but are constructed through past experiences, context, prediction and learning.

Joseph LeDoux (whose work focuses on fear and survival circuits) also explains that fear responses are much more complex than simply pressing a subconscious "danger" button.

While emotions absolutely influence attention, memory and motivation, they don't function as a “programming language” for the subconscious.

That's one of the reasons I personally would not recommend this visualization method. To me it feels like the creator took ideas from manifestation and the LOA and then compressed them into a shortcut without fully understanding all of the technicalities behind how conditioning and subconscious learning actually work.

Shortcuts can work, but they also introduce risks.

Personally, I think negative emotions are especially risky when they're intentionally used as a conditioning tool.

The subconscious mind isn't a friend of chronic negativity. From what we know about learning and motivation, it's generally much more effective to associate a task with positive outcomes, competence, growth and safety than with fear of punishment or self-criticism.

While fear can certainly produce immediate action in the short term, relying on it repeatedly can also reinforce anxiety, avoidance, perfectionism or self-sabotaging behaviors over time.

That's why many behavioral psychologists recommend strengthening desired behaviors through positive reinforcement instead of constantly activating threat-based responses.

Another thing I think the video misunderstands is the relationship between the conscious and subconscious mind. The creator seems to assume that your conscious thoughts can directly control your subconscious simply by choosing emotional scenarios.

Your subconscious works with repetition, habits and associations. It doesn't separate "this is something I don't want" from "this is something I do want”. It can and it will fall for the repetition of those negative thought, because repeated exposure strengthens neural associations regardless of whether you're imagining something positively or negatively.

The creator basically compressed conditioning into a usable hack (as I think he mentioned being in software). The problem is that hacks often introduce security vulnerabilities. They solve one problem while unintentionally creating another.

The same thing can happen with subconscious work. If you repeatedly wire fear, shame, ego or identity into your motivational system in the wrong way, you can gradually create psychological exploits that end up working against you instead of for you.

At first everything seems effective because you're motivated, but over time those same emotional associations can become sources of anxiety, burnout or self-sabotage (and self-sabotage is a very real phenomenon).

Identity itself is also much more layered than the video suggests. Human identity isn't just one belief you consciously choose, it’s built from years of experiences, memories, habits, emotional associations, social learning, repeated behaviours and more.

Overall i don't think everything in the video is necessarily false. There are some truth mixed in with some oversimplifications. But I also don't think it's scientifically reliable enough for me to recommend it.

If you're interested in these topics, I'd strongly encourage doing your own research rather than relying on a single video. Understanding the mechanisms is far safer than trying to shortcut them like the video does. And feel free to ask me as many question as needed in my ASKs!

A script is not what creates or controls your DR. In the same way that you do not need to script gravity for it to exist, or write down every word in the English language and its definition for people to be able to speak, you do not need to script every detail of a reality for it to function or happens.

Your script itself holds no power, it is simply a tool that helps you organize your ideas. Whether something is written in your script or not does not impact your DR in any way. Even if you script something or don’t, it doesn’t have an impact on your DR or anything (it’s all about your subconscious). So yes definitely there will be things that you never included in your script.

And I’m not only talking about gravity but spontaneous events, for example a friend might decide to throw you a surprise party even though you never scripted it, or you might discover a new favorite place, meet someone unexpectedly, or have conversations you never planned, etc.

Just as in your CR life continues to unfold naturally.

It is important to understand that a DR is a fully real reality just like your CR, not like a movie. A DR is a fully real reality just like your CR. And things happens just like in your CR. And it’s not because you script something that it will necessarily happen either.

Your script can describe the reality you intend to experience, but it does not need to contain every possible detail for that reality to be complete.

So there is no need to worry about scripting every detail or anything. Things will happen that you never scripted and things will unfold naturally (just like they do in this reality).

Don’t worry about situation developing on their own, like I said it’s not a movie, it’s real life. Being in your DR will feel just like being in your CR.

Could you post more about manifesting ? I really want more people who approach manifesting in a scientific pov since you really really helped me with shifting , couldn’t think about someone better than you to help me understand 🩵

“Manifestation”, “shifting” and even the Law of Attraction are not different processes. In fact, they are the exact same thing.

If you ask me to talk more about manifestation, I feel like I already do. The intention between them may not be the same, but it’s exactly the same thing with the same results.

When someone manifests, they're intentionally “shifting” into a reality that match what they were manifesting, by becoming aware of their awareness there. Exactly like shifting to your “DR”, except the change is “smaller” and the reality still feels the “same” (even is it’s a fully different “new” one).

When someone shifts, they're intentionally becoming aware of their awareness in the reality they want to experience. Compared to manifestation, the change is “bigger” because the reality is fully different than the previous one.

This is why everything I say about shifting also applies to manifestation.

Even from a more scientific or psychological perspective, it’s the same. Whether you call that manifestation, shifting or the Law of Attraction doesn't really change what's happening.

If you've understood shifting, you've already learned most of what manifestation is. If you've understood manifestation, you've already learned the foundation of shifting. The difference is in the goal, not in the process.

Now in the context of shifting revision is described as shifting to a reality where a different “version” of your past exists.

For example, if you revise a past relationship, you might shift to a reality where you never dated that person and where your personal history reflects that. In that reality the relationship is not part of your past.

What revision does not do is erase the fact that you experienced the reality originally. Your memories are part of you and your experience. You can change your past but can’t change the fact that you lived through a certain past. Even if you shift to a reality where the relationship never happened, you still know that you once lived through a reality in which it did. The past of the reality you are now occupying will be different, but the memory of having experienced another version of events will remains.

You can shift to a reality where a certain event was never part of your life there or that it never occurred, but you cannot undo the fact that you already lived through and remember a reality where it happened. The past can be different in your new reality, yet your awareness and what you experienced remains.

Wait, can I live on my dr forever? This is a whole rollercoaster sorry.

I understand that you are religious, and I am completely fine discussing religion. But before reading this post, you need to understand that’s im not trying to confront you, just to explain and help you objectively regarding the situation you are in.

Personally I have a very negative view of religion and religious people. In my personal life I strongly dislike religion and I think critically about religious beliefs and practices. And I also grew up in a strongly religious environment myself.

That being said, I am able of separating my personal opinions from what I believe to be an objective analysis of reality. Meaning my personal feelings about religion are one thing, but the conclusions regarding shifting and religion are another.

No regard of my personal opinion, I support people's right to practice religion and hold whatever beliefs they choose, as long as it is done appropriately and respectfully. My issue is not with people's freedom to believe. Why? Because regardless of my personal beliefs, im able to understand that my personal beliefs should not impact other’s liberty. So even if I personally think religion should not exist, im fighting really hard for the acceptance of religious beliefs and people’s liberty to beliefs and practice religion. And this is why I’m going to say what I’m about to say, because not like other shifters who only care about shifting and don’t mind sharing misinformation about religion to make shifting appear “perfect” or universally accepted, I care more about providing you with correct information so you are fully aware of the situation you are in and the implication of your beliefs/actions, so you can make a fully informed decision.

This being said, regardless of my personal beliefs and of yours, certain religious things and the concept of shifting are fundamentally incompatible no matter what, because they just contradict one another.

Also, many religions are against shifting. Contrary to what some people in the shifting community claim, almost every religion do not allow shifting and even consider it sinful. (Now I know religion never mention the term “shifting”, but let’s think. It may or may not be because the term “shifting” got introduces 7 years ago?) Anyway. (There are only 2 posts below, but it’s because people didn’t got interested enough in my religion VS shifting posts, so I stoped making those).

Now of course my personal opinion is that nobody should surrender themselves to any authority or worship anything unquestioningly, but that is a separate discussion.

Regarding the question of why some shifters return to their CR, there is no single answer. But there are 2 possibilities.

1- Some “return” to their CR.

2- Some stories are exaggerated or not even shifts.

Now, after experiencing many realities and facing eternity, the distinction between staying and returning begins to lose importance. Eventually, everything matters and nothing matters at the same time.

Why would I shift back to this reality? Why not?

Another important point is that there are no such thing as "versions of yourself". What people call another version of themselves is simply another person that you become aware of. Your DR “self” is also just a person you become aware of.

You cannot erase a life that exists, nor can you remove experiences that have occurred. It has happened, what can you do.

However it doesn’t matters because you are already shifting constantly and infinitely. There is no difference between shifting to your DR and constantly shifting naturally like you already do.

This is also why there are no such thing as “original reality”. I genuinely do not know where you’ve heard this, but it just makes no sense. And you can ask whoever you want, this is a well known misinformation in the shifting community and every other shifters will tell you the same thing. The reality you are in right now is not the same reality you occupied a moment ago.

What we call ourselves is awareness. The truth is that we do not know where it comes from, whether it is created at all or whether it has always existed. Because of that there are no such thing as an “original reality”.

You need to understand that shifting (and manifestation and LOA (since they are shifting)) cannot work with religion the way it present itself. I realize that hearing this may be uncomfortable, especially if your faith is important to you but I am not saying it to attack your beliefs. I am simply explaining the implications that I believe logically follow from the shifting framework.

Can you live in your DR forever? Yes. The same way you can just stay in this reality forever and never shift. Why? Because there are no “original reality”. A DR is not less real than a CR.

I know that you are searching for a middle ground between your religious beliefs and shifting, and I understand why. But a common ground don’t really exists in every situation (again, depending on your degree of religious beliefs).

You may disagree with my conclusions, and that is completely your right. You may prefer to listen to other creators that feel more compatible with your faith or more comforting. I genuinely don’t care, my goal is not to take away your religion or tell you what to believe. My goal is only to explain the logical implications of shifting and to make sure you are aware of them before making your own decisions.

Whether you continue believing in God is entirely your choice. I respect that. I simply want you to understand the consequences of each position as clearly as possible. If you still choose faith after considering those implications, then that is your decision to make.

Recently I’ve struggled with doubts about shifting, I guess I’m just scared of being lied to. I’ve always believed in it so much, but since I tried for multiple years and didn’t succeed, it got to me.

I have trust issues from being deceived a lot, and it’s leading me to being scared of reprogramming my subconsciousness in order to shift. I can’t help but be afraid of having so much faith in shifting, making myself believe in it 100%, in fear that it’s a lie and I’ll never actually experience all the DRs I’ve dreamt so much about. It’d be really crushing.

Its also something that’s so easy to lie about, and many shifters on social media have come out and admitted to lying, so this got to me too. Of course I still wanna do it though, I guess I’m just scared. Have you ever experienced this, or felt this way at all ?

(Btw am I allowed to ask you in dms what you think of certain shiftokers? I’ve heavily relied on some of them and I’ve been wondering lately if that was wrong of me lol)

First of all, yes I've felt this way before too.

I think a lot of people who have been trying to shift for a long time eventually run into doubts, especially when they care about it. When you've spent years wanting something and haven't experienced it it's natural to start questioning things. That doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong or that you can’t shift.

One thing that helped me was to stop seeing shifting as something linear. Your journey doesn’t equal shifting. We tend to think, "I've been trying for X years, so I should be closer by now”, but there are no such thing as “getting closer” in shifting.

As for the fear of being lied to, I completely understand that too. Social media doesn't help and the fact that clueless teens started to popularize it didn’t either, especially when people admit they made things up :/ .

What helped me personally was getting more into the science of it and relying on trusted sources instead of any teen I saw on TikTok. Realizing that shifting is inevitable also helped a lot!

I also don't think you need to force yourself into blind faith. It's okay to have doubts. Having questions doesn't automatically block you from shifting and it’s important you are able to get the answers you need.

You can (and need to) remain critical while still being open to the possibility that shifting is real and that you'll experience it yourself someday.

Regarding shifttok creators, I usually don't talk about other shifting content creators unprompted because I don't want to start unnecessary drama or make people feel attacked. (The way I got attacked over nothing in the past). However, if you ask me what I think about a specific creator and why, I'll do my best to explain my perspective respectfully and without turning it into a personal attack/into a judgment coming from my personal opinion. I try to focus on the ideas being shared rather than the person.

But I do not take DMs from anyone that isn’t my Moot. So feel free to send me an ASK about the shifting content creator you have in mind and I’ll answer just like I previously did in the provided post above!
