Keebo evolved into Infernape and Taeko evolved into a Gardevoir! Looks all this hard training is finally paying off!

Flo’s Gym is pretty cool. There’s this valve against the back wall you have to turn to fill up a pool, and then you cross the pool on rafts to get to Flo. Before we got to the valve we had to take on a bunch of ~lv. 30 water Pokemon. We saw Dratini, Qwilfish, and Seadra.

Flo was my hardest battle to date! She has a lv. 31 Wartortle, a lv. 32 Wartortle, a lv. 35 Milotic and a lv. 34 Kingdra.

We squeaked by with a victory and received the Crest badge, which allows me to use Rock Smash. I’m going right to Mt. Stratus to get that gold nugget I saw! Flo also gave me TM03 - Water Pulse, which is a solid move.

After beating Flo, I headed south and used Rock Smash to get to the lower part of Mt. Stratus, which takes you to Stormy City. But on my way, I ran into Pikachu again. You know, the one with the Napoleon complex.

He stole all my gym badges from me and ran off cackling into the hills. Another day in the life, I guess!

I am starting this blog in the name of all that is kawaii! Welcome! It’s so good to have u ^_^ There’s lots of adventures ahead so definitely stay tuned! This is gonna be GRRREAT! meow :3

Today. Was. The best! Wanna know why?

Because today, I got to finally take the first steps on my journey as a Pokémon Trainer!!

It was awesome. Mom and Dad set up an appointment for me to see Professor Willow, and I got to pick out my very own Pokémon.

It’s a Chimchar! I named him KEEBO, because he reminds me of a monkey boy. Lol

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Before all that went down, I woke up from this really odd dream. Well, I’m not sure if it was a dream, exactly. It felt oddly real.

I was standing outside my house and there was this boy, Luke. He seemed surprised to see me.

He went on to tell me I “slipped through” to his universe. Then he dropped me off back at my house and told me to be careful because this might happen again. He said he had no time to explain...

After that he disappeared, and that’s when Mom and Dad went out to Chocco town. Like, I never even woke up. Weird.

Anyway, after that the Professor told me I should go get a Pokédex from his friend, The Inventor, in Chocco Town. So I headed down the old Forest Pass, thinking I’d say hi to Mom and Dad while I was there. But then this old guy waved me down...

Of course, it was my dear old Mom and Dad getting attacked by a rabid Pikachu in a freaking red scarf. I mean, what else could it be, right?

Keebo and I made quick work of the little bugger. By the way, I’m not kidding, it was wearing a little red scarf.

Mom and Dad were pretty impressed by my battling skills... and they brought me stuff from Chocco Town!! Mom got me a pair of running shoes! She said to hold down the B button while using them... okay, Mom! I’ll make sure to do that... No idea what she was talking about. But it was really nice of her to get me something! :D

Dad got me an Exp. Share. I’ve heard about these! It lets your Pokémon gain experience while they’re not battling. I guess I’ll have to catch some more! I’ve got my eyes set on a Sentret. They’re oh, so adorable.

Yeah so... I was really just trying to see The Inventor so I could grab my PokéDex and start logging all the new Pokémon I’ve been seeing. But then this jerk, Percy, came blustering through the woods and announced he was looking for a Pikachu wearing a scarf. I told him I’d taken care of it already, but he didn’t seem to like that. Anyway, Percy has a level 5 Cyndaquil.

I was glad I took Keebo back to the Professor’s Lab and healed him up-- otherwise we might not have beat Percy!

After that I was finally able to get to Chocco Town, where I met The Inventor. He’s an interesting guy! Just like Professor Willow, he has a team of aides helping him. He gave me a brand new PokéDex.

Then he gave me ten Pokéballs and asked me to help him out with some of his research. He said there were some ruins he’s inspecting in Milkshake Swamp, which is north of town, and he could use some help from a Trainer.

Today I got up bright and early to catch and train a full team of Pokémon! I think I did a pretty good job on the names, huh?

After assembling my team, I headed to the north of Chocco Town to meet up with The Inventor. However there were these jerks standing in our way.

I was about to punch one of them in the face but then a mysterious man came and told them to get lost. It turns out this man’s name was Blake, and he was a member of the Elite Four! I believe him-- you should have seen the way those guys ran!

The Inventor explained to Blake we were just trying to get into Milkshake Swamp to study the ruins he found. Blake explained those two guys were members of Team Fusion, and he’d seen them poking around the same ruins we were heading to. I have a really bad feeling about this Team Fusion...

Then Blake escorted The Inventor to the ruins without me! I’m not gonna lie, he said some really nice, encouraging things but I’m still kinda pissed! I wanted to go with them. Grr.

So now I’m battling trainers in Milkshake Swamp and training up my team. If you ever come here, watch out ‘cause there’s poisonous vines on the ground and your Pokémon can get sick. Speaking of which, the nurse at the PokéCenter is really sweet. She told me she thinks one day I’ll be a great trainer! Well, that got me thinking and I want to be where the action is. Blake did say to follow my dreams, and who knows... one day, we might just battle.

I finally caught up to Blake and the Inventor! I’m glad, battling dorks in this muddy swamp was getting old fast! The one kid had some cool fairy types, though.

I’d love to train a cute fairy Pokemon to be super strong someday!

When I caught up to Blake and the Inventor, another Team Fusion grunt was there studying the ruins... He announced he’d “gotten the info he needed” and scampered off. Then, The Inventor gave me something called a PokeComm. It allows people to speak to Pokemon! So cool, I didn’t even know anything like this existed. After that, Blake and the Inventor left and I was alone, standing in the ruins.

So then something extra weird happened, I’m kind of scared to talk about it. I kind of... fell through the Universe... again!? Once again, there was that guy Luke, but this time, we were in the swamp. It was this weird part of the swamp that doesn’t exist, though... Anyway, when I found the Mudkip he asked me to find for him (which I caught for myself! his name is Erwin) he took me back to where I was standing before, in front of the ruins.

Weird. Maybe I’m just going crazy with the pressure of being a new trainer.

Anyway I heard Milkshake Swamp eventually leads to Oceanview City to the north, so I’m making that my next destination. Maybe they’ll have a Gym there!

So, a couple things.

First of all, Keebo evolved into a Monferno. Oh yeah... it’s butt-kicking season! xD Right after that happened I made it to Oceanview City. It’s so beautiful here, and everyone is really really nice.

Pretty music keeps playing in my head everywhere I go! It sounds so real, like someone wrote it to give my life this epic adventure feel. I’m sure I’m fine! :D

This guy is training really hard with his Meinfoo... like jeeze. I better head back to Milkshake Swamp and start training! Oh, and I met this really funny Mudkip today...

As it turns out they do have a Gym in this city. However the Gym Leader Sparky is busy dealing with something at the Power Plant. You do not wanna go there. My head music gets really creepy whenever I step in the door. I think I should train more at Milkshake before I go exploring too far in there...

Today marks another eventful day in the life of a Pokemon Trainer! :D After training my team against those twerps in Milkshake Swamp (I used their lunch money to buy a bunch of Pokeballs), I finally felt confident enough to check out that Power Plant I was telling you about! Creepy? Definitely.

But it was well worth it!

There’s three floors to this place. It’s really dilapidated. There are holes in the floor and wild Pokemon running around. Mostly Magnemite, Electrike, and Elekid, but there were Pikachu and to my surprise, even Porygon! I’d judge they were all around lvs. 8 - 10. I made a point to catch each type of course ;D

This kid on the first floor warned me his friends were upstairs messing around. I figured they’d want to battle when I got up there.

It was just a bunch of Hooligans with small parties around lv. 11. Easy winnings! ;D

Then I reached the third floor. That’s where things got weird! There was this pulsating light, and the air smelled like ozone. The first thing I noticed was the swatch of bright blue hair... then Sparky introduced himself to me.

That’s Oceanview’s Electric-type gym leader. He was clearly dealing with something major.

He directed me to the center of the room and there it was... the seed of my nightmares and the reason Oceanview City Gym was closed when I got here. That creepy red-scarved Pikachu! It had somehow figured out how to operate the turbines and was sucking up all the electricity.

Sparky told me he’d battle me at his Gym if I handled the Pikachu. I had to walk to the other side of the freaking room, sparks flying everywhere, and turn the power off. Please tell me why this man couldn’t figure it out for himself. Sorry there Sparky, but you’re going down later.

So anyways, I gets to the Pikachu and I says... look sonny boy, you’re gonna have to high-tail it outta here.

I forgot my PokeComm was on. It really freaked me out when the little guy started talking to me. The scarf made it way worse.

And he was so rude!

Keebo took care of the problem. It was an easy battle for us. This Pikachu is uncatchable, though. Just try, I dare you! After beating him, the Pikachu swore to take revenge on me personally and darted out. Because, you know.

Then, Sparky congratulated me and told me he’d be waiting to battle at the Oceanview City Gym!

I can’t wait to wreck shittttt...

After that I went to check out the Gym. I didn’t even get through the door before this chick came hurdling into me! She tells me her name is Chelle and was bragging about how she’d just beaten Sparky. She was a whole irritation!

We had a quick battle. I remember she had a lv. 14 Chikorita and a Pikachu around the same lv. She seemed really sore when I beat her... oh well sorry Chelle! Sucks to suck >:P
