ANYA STAYS A DEMON IN S6-7. Anya sticks to being a demon damn it, the scoobies just gotta suck it up and get used to the idea that the world functions in many ways outside of their tiny scope and narrow view of acceptability. Grow up nerds, do a semester aboard in the negative zone or something.
ANYA KNOWS SHIT ABOUT MAGIC AND IS VERY COMPETENT AT IT. It just literally ? Never made sense ? To me ? That they have her know magic and curse her exe thus gaining her vengeance gig then later the whole spell to try and get her necklace back but by season 5 she can’t do magic and claims to know how to do less than Willow ? Like ??? She was already a magic user as a human and she’s had 1,000+ years to get even more knowledgable about it. Is she as strong as Willow ? Yeah probably not so much, but she absolutely has more experience, knowledge and finesse than Willow since you know… she’s an Old.
When it comes to shipping, I am not against Anya/Xander though I really do need to talk about it and how to go about it ooc first since it’s treatment in the show ( and Anya’s treatment overall lbr ) leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I need to build things ooc to help block out canon before I get too deep into it.
