After watching the Bee Movie again today, purely for scientific research, I’m even more convinced the writers were high the entire making of the film.
Why would you watch that movie more than once?
Miserable Together ♦ Andrew & Anya
"Hi," Andrew spoke a little quietly, letting his smile grow wider. "You must have one of those strong immune systems," he commented. "But it was bound to happen, right?" he shrugged lightly and moved toward the couch, slightly pushing Maya over to one side so he and Anya could sit. Maya, on the other hand, went right over to Anya with a wagging tail and a doggy grin on her face. "Plus maybe it’s just different air from where you used to live… Pollen and everything." he added watching as Astor shyly went up to Anya and Recon stayed at Andrew’s side, away from Anya. "Sorry Recon’s being an asshole today."
Andrew’s attention moved from his dog and over to Anya, giving her a soft nod. “At least you’re feeling a little better and hopefully you’ll be able to breathe and get some sleep.” he grinned. “Me?” his eyes went down to his leg before giving a shrug. “It hurts, but I have to go back to the doctor either tomorrow or the day after so he can make sure everything is okay. Then possibly I’ll be able to use the crutches, or even the boot, to go out and walk.” Andrew gave a pause, bringing his foot a little closer to the couch so he could bend his knee more. “He just wants me to keep it as still as possible.” he added quietly and let his eyes fall back on her.
He let out a small chuckle at her comment after she coughed. “Who knew, right?” he echoed her. “But take it easy there, tiger, don’t cough up a lung.” Andrew noticed her take a look at Recon and his eyes went back down to his comrade who was now laying down right at Andrew’s feet. “Oh no DVDs? You?” Andrew playfully repeated her words, offering her a raised eyebrow and a grin. “it’s ok, I have Netflix.” Hopefully she’d want to watch some movies or some things he hadn’t seen in a long time. If he had to watch another recent movie he may just shoot himself in the head. Andrew’s blue eyes went down to his sides, looking around for the remote until he found it again. “Anything you want to watch in particular?” he asked. “Oh and here,” Andrew grabbed the crutch again and got up to walk over toward his room.
Recon had jumped up before Andrew even got a hold of the clutch and followed his owner. A few moments later Andrew came back with a few pillows and blankets balanced between his body and arm. “Might as well be comfortable, right?” he placed a pillow on the coffee table in front of them so they could rest their feet on top of it. He handed her a pillow, throwing the last pillow behind himself and then flapped the blanket in the air so it would spread out before letting it fall on her and on him as he sat back. “Need anything else?” he asked, “Are the dogs bothering you? I can tell them to leave or to at least relax.”
“You already said hi,” Anya replied softly, digging her teeth into her bottom lip afterwards to stop her smile from spreading. “Maybe I do, or people here just tend to carry more viruses. Yankees, y’know? Even their name sounds like a disease.” She figured that her words couldn’t be too offensive to Andrew, since she knew that he lived in Lousiana before. Sitting down on the couch, she absentmindedly petted Maya while she listened to Andrew talk. “Yeah… Things are definitely a lot different here. I’ve never dealt with this much rain before.” When Astor found his way over to Anya, she used her free hand to pet his head. “No worries, I know people who are a lot worse than Recon every day.”
The brunette smiled, moving her gaze down to her bag of sickness essentials for a moment. “Even if I can’t sleep on my own, I have some really good stuff that would knock you right on your ass,” she commented, a teasing tone sneaking its way into her voice. Watching him while he talked, Anya thought about the few times she had broken a bone. It always happened at the least convenient time-- but then again, what time was convenient for breaking something? “I’m sure you’re going stir-crazy not being able to do a lot.” The girl tried catching her breath after her coughing fit, shaking her head as she remarked, “I swear, I’m going to have killer abs by the end of this. You’ll lose all your tone and I’ll be like… Wonder Woman or something.” Thankfully, she was able to contain her laughter so she didn’t throw herself into another coughing spasm.
Anya shrugged, “What can I say? Compared to me, you’re the resident expert on movies.” Nodding lightly at the mention of Netflix, her eyes widened in surprise when he asked her if she wanted to watch something specific. “You’re giving me all the power of the remote?” she questioned, a grin tugging at her lips, “What if I choose something you can’t stand? Would you take it back?” Her smile faded somewhat as he stood up, confused as to what he was getting. Gaze going to the objects Andrew was carrying as he returned, a feeling of relief washed over her when she noticed it was only pillows and blankets. “With that balancing act you have going on, you could easily be the best waiter in town,” she teased, holding the pillow he gave her close to her.
Shaking her head at Andrew’s question concerning needing anything else, Anya glanced down at the dogs, smiling softly. “Trust me, the dogs are fine. I like animals more than people, there’s no need to worry,” she replied, meeting his gaze. Looking away after a moment, she added, “So, uh, we should watch Dude, Where’s My Car or maybe something like it, if you’ve already seen it a bunch of times. It’s a really stupid movie, but pretty funny…” As she trailed off she asked, “Unless if you have something in mind that you really want to see?”
“Be careful with her, she is very aggressive.”

Oh, well that sounds interesting.
You don't have to try and be polite about it.
Miserable Together ♦ Andrew & Anya
Andrew did not like having his leg broken. He didn’t like it one bit. He couldn’t do anything, or so the doctor ordered. It was one thing to rebel against the doctor’s word but Andrew had been taught and trained to listen to orders and the doctor ordered him to keep his foot as stable as possible. Yes the 150 pound sack of sand was a lot for his foot to take and the doctor wanted to make sure it didn’t shatter. The bones were weak, as the doctor said, and if they shattered, even by a small stub of a toe, a surgery would need to be done. If Andrew needed a surgery that meant he would have to be honorable discharged and that wasn’t going to happen. Andrew wasn’t done with the SEALS yet.
Thankfully Andrew took a shower that morning so he was clean and fresh for company… Well for Anya. She wasn’t feeling well and Andrew offered up that they could be miserable together. At least they’d keep each other sane and a little out of boredom. The pain meds from the morning were still coursing through Andrew and he was going to put off taking another one as much as he could. He didn’t want to fall asleep on Anya or say something strange to her. As of right now, Andrew was laying with his head on Recon’s stomach, Maya was squeezed between him and the couch, and Astor was sprawled out on the floor right against the couch. Maya and Astor were both there for support while Recon was there for protection. He’d bite someone’s hand off if they came too close and hopefully he was used to Anya and wouldn’t growl at her… Who knew.
He heard a soft knock on the door and turned to look at it. “Everybody up.” he spoke to his dogs as he sat up with Maya. He swung his leg over the side of the couch and grabbed one crutch, because it was close to him, and he limped over to the door as fast as he could. Maya and Astor stayed over by the couch while Recon trailed Andrew to see who was at the door. Opening up the door Andrew saw Anya standing there and he offered her a soft smile and took a step back to let her in. “Hey,” he greeted her. “Come on in. Oh and if you’re going to work yourself up and cough, you don’t need to say hello.” A grin replaced his greeting smile and he closed the door behind her when she walked in. “Feeling any better?” That was a dumb question… Recon briefly sniffed at her legs before taking a few steps back over to Andrew, keeping an eye on her. “Knock it off,” Andrew somewhat playfully swatted Recon’s face away, slightly pushing him away.
Anya chewed the inside of her cheek, almost feeling eyes on her while she waited. Being out in the open, especially when not prepared, set every ounce of her being on red alert-- something that usually wasn't an issue, but with her feeling ill, brought on a small sense of nausea. She tried brushing off her typical "fighting" instinct, reminding herself that one of the main reasons she came here was because no one would know her, let alone be out to get her. But she never knew, and that frightened her. By turning her attention to the door as she heard shuffling from behind it, the brunette took another deep breath to attempt to offset another coughing fit, something she realized worked fairly well.
Eyes trailing up as the door clicked open, Anya felt the corners of her mouth instinctively being tugged upward, an action she usually tried to hide around most people. It wasn't that she hated her smile or anything, she just had an internal power struggle concerning how others affected her emotions. Raising an eyebrow at Andrew's comment about not needing to say hello, she shook her head softly, "I'm pretty sure I can a few words without coughing." She stepped inside his home, adding, "Hi, by the way." As if irony was on a warpath, Anya felt a cough coming on, and she sucked in a breath, letting it out slowly and allowing a temporary fix to her situation. “I don’t even remember the last time I was sick,” she mumbled under her breath, knowing that her talking more didn’t help anything, but still finding the need to.
At his question, a small smile played on her lips, and she tilted her head slightly to the side in contemplation. “You know, I’m better than yesterday. I couldn’t even sleep because I would either start coughing or I couldn’t breathe. At least I’ve been able to cope today.” Gesturing to his foot, she asked, “What about you? Feeling less crippled than you have been, or…?” Anya laughed at her teasing words, then found herself coughing for another minute. Knitting her eyebrows together, she added, “Apparently laughing triggers coughing. Who knew?” The brunette noticed Recon, and gave the dog a small smile, figuring that he must've sensed some of the anxiety that had been surrounding her. Lying to people, covering up her emotions, came easily to Anya, and was necessary in her life, but she knew she couldn't do that around animals. "So, I was going to bring some movies, but it turns out that I have nothing on DVD. Surprising, right?" She wasn't sure about what they had planned on doing, but as she slipped off her flip flops and saw the other two dogs, she already felt more comfortable than she did at home.
Yep. Now what do you do?
I'm a dispatcher, as well as some other things.

It is and that is why my job is full time.
Alright.. Makes sense.
It’s no problem Anya, what are friends for?
You consider us friends?
Then they will continue to seem themselves and their views marginalized to the point that they will lose their voice when it comes to government and suffer the consequences that will have helped bring upon themselves.
Sounds very... serious.
Miserable Together ♦ Andrew & Anya
Twirling a section of brunette hair around her index finger, Anya stole a glance at the landscape surrounding her and her car. Nothing too impressive, but all the green still unsettled her. Used to more arid scenery, she couldn't help but feel out of place. The fact that she managed to catch a cold a few weeks in didn't help her opinion of the town, either. Her nose constantly needed a tissue, her throat stung dully, and her stomach ached as a result of all the coughing. In response, the brunette had planned to stay inside her home for the majority of the day, merely lounging around in some sweats, not necessarily planning for anything exciting or fun. Yet when Andrew invited her over, she couldn't find it in her to say no, even though she wasn't really in the mood for being sociable.
She wasn't even sure why she agreed to going over his house-- for some reason, she wanted to look nice, although she only wore too-long sweatpants and a tee, and she found herself glancing at her phone clock, not wanting to get there too early or late. He was one of the only friends she ever had, so she assumed everything she felt was completely normal. Tapping on her steering wheel as she neared his place, Anya sucked in a deep breathe, trying to curb the urge to start coughing again. After putting her car in park, she stuffed a box of tissues and some cough drops in her bag, pulling it over her shoulder as she got out of the car. Knocking softly on the door, she fiddled with the strap on her bag again, distracting herself while she waited for him to answer the door.
Exactly, hah. Which ever, really. I mean if you want to drive over here, you’re more than welcome to. If you’re up to it I should say. And if you do, be careful.
Hey, no worries, I'm not the one drugged and on the verge of passing out. I could be over in a few. Did you need anything while I'm out?

Asshole.
That’s fine. Might as well get it out of the way, right? Did you want me to come to you?
Jerk.
Yeah, might as well get sick when you can't do too much anyway. If you want to, I mean, I can drive without any problems. Not like I'll run some kid over.
I’ll bet. I can deal with that if you can deal with someone looking like they’re drugged and about to pass out. Plus I never said we had to talk.
You always look that way, so I don't see the problem. Okay, but if you end up getting sick, you're the one getting the blame because it's your idea.
