Asahi looked at the ground in a bit of guilt. Of course, Suga is right, as always. At the very least, if the first years didn’t want anything to do with him, Nishinoya would talk to him plenty, angry or not. Still, Asahi has been growing more aware and slightly even scared of Hinata’s growing presence on the court, so he had hoped that by talking with the boy outside of volleyball, it would help ease that.

“That sounds nice, but if it’s just you and me, then it’s no good.” Asahi sighed and slumped his shoulders only to straighten up when he remembered Suga’s temper. “Not that I don’t want to hang out with you! I just...thought it would be nice to hang out with the younger guys for once...Act like a proper senpai and all...”
