Nat in canon; a rape victim, grew up in an abusive household and was a victim of emotional incest at the hands of her father (who had molested her in the original script), frequently slut-shamed by her peers which she is deeply insecure about, has only been with two people consensually before the crash (potentially only one depending on how old she & Bobby Farleigh were), believes that sex is meaningful, seems to have a healthy understanding of sex and consent during her conversations and experiences with Travis, actively seeks out a trusted adult (Ben) for advice when she needs it, compares sex to alcohol and drugs (which she's addict to) whilst in rehab and after this revelation is only shown having sex with her former best friend (who was there for her at one of the worst points of her life) whilst genuinely thinking about having relationship with him.
