good god was this brutal. z-moves are no joke in nuzlockes, folks. I lost around half the Pokemon I captured in this run, right up until the end! Team Jacob and Katherina were both extremely late additions, as my catches in the penultimate and ultimate routes respectively.

also everything in this game is so, so slow. I know it’s called “Aslowla” for a reason but the fastest Pokemon on this team is Team Jacob with 113 speed. next fastest? Katherina, whose base speed is a whopping 65 (though I got a +Speed nature and did some EV training on her). I also had to bench some team members whose weight-pulling declined in the mid-game, which actually included Amanita until she was called back into action by desperation. Nezumi (Alolan Raticate) and Pumpkin (Stoutland) were retired sometime between Totem Mimikyu and Po Town after some scary near-misses. I regretted this later because they would’ve made the E4 battle against Acerola way easier. oh well.

notable lost members: Alexandra (Golisopod, brutally ko’d by Lusamine’s Lilligant, which is a devil from hell), Keynes (Klefki), Potoooooooo (Mudsdale), Darla (Crobat, she basically solo’d Totem Mimikyu), Snoopy (Zygarde 10%), Boeing (Skarmory), and Tater Tot (Alolan Diglett). RIP to all of you.
