It seems that we uncovered quite a number of unnamed gems on this stretch of road! This beautiful spot nestled between a bent fence and some overgrown grass, also makes perfect hideaway and secluded spot!

Darkwood Beach is a personal childhood favourite but it's evolved over the years with a locally owned water obstacle course!

If you're thinking of testing your fitness levels, we recommend giving this beast a try!

The beach may be bit rough at times but it does sport some gorgeous views!

Another convenient tip, popular beach bars and restaurants are located right at the beach front! Making it a perfect stay on a Sunday afternoon.

We ventured to Cades Bay, a very shallow beach and met upon a nice picnic scene.

We definitely see the potential for beautiful IG shots right here!

The shallow waters make it perfect for young children and a bit of snorkelling fun!

Even though this spectacular beach has been dubbed 'deep', that's not what it's mostly known for. Deep Bay is one of Antigua's most tranquil beaches.

The coconut trees that overlook the shore are perfectly arranged.

And the water is so beautiful and feels just as peaceful as it looks!

The only con is to access this beach, you must cross over a bridge. We're hoping a ramp can be built soon to accommodate everyone to see Deep Bay in all of her beauty!

Now this is a popular beach and to be very honest, it has every right to be!

Ffryes Beach is a staple due to its vast parking space, easily accessible by car, there's public restrooms available and even shade from trees and sheds made by locals.

However, Ffryes is definitely a beauty! We recommend checking this beach out during the weekday when everyone is off to work (Granted you're on your off day and not 'ducking' 👀)

Location:⁣ They are various ways to access this beach but I will be providing the directions via Valley Road. When driving along Valley Road from town area you gonna approach a bunch of signs on your right as seen above, you take that right and keep straight and you'll arrive at Ffryes Beach! ⁣

Pillar Rock is a beach I'm pretty sure not a lot of people are aware about! It sports gorgeous views and is quite close to Deep Bay, however, it's quite a drive to get there as the road situation is a bit too serious!

My dad gave us a lift in his truck and we met up on this!

Now Seaforth is also an amazing spot however it is bit of a journey to get there. The road is a bit rugged so we recommend getting a bigger vehicle/truck to make your way to Seaforth or even going by boat if you can!

But the journey is definitely worth it!

What we personally love about Seaforth is the view of the smooth hills in the distance! You feel so relaxed and calm whenever we make a trip here!

My favourite part about this beach is the rocks! Can already see the photoshoots that I'll do when I come back!

Highly reccomend walking with a can of insect repellent if you are to undergo this adventure 👍🏽⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

What we do know - There are four beaches surrounding the Hawksbill Rock at Five Islands. But what we and others have been confused with, which beach is exactly what. 🤔

The first beach you encounter before the Hawksbill Resort has been known to us locals as Hawksbill Beach. However, this is officially Landing Bay. *Attaches pic of our map*

Now that we've got that out the way, Landing Bay is one of our favourite spots! Perfect for chilling on a relaxing weekend!

➡ Water is crystal clear⁣  ➡ View of the hawksbill rock is superb ⁣  ➡ The surroundings are peaceful⁣  ➡ Adequate space for parking ⁣ ⁣ 

Cons: ⁣ 

➡ Little to no shade available ⁣ ➡ Look out for sea animals - Jellyfish, Stingrays

We stumbled upon this amazing hidden beach driving along Hodges Bay road. Once you get past the secluded entrance, you will meet a gorgeous and picture perfect hidden gem!

This beach is photoshoot ready!

With a similar natural formation to our beloved Devils Bridge, Hells Gate Island is a thing of wonder and we're encouraging more persons to visit.

Hells Gate also has a few marvelous caves that you can go and explore. However, our warning is to beware of the jagged rocks (make sure you pack sneakers for the walk up the island 😅)

Hells Gate also has some beautiful views and amazing natural pools.

Also note, the currents are extremely strong so we don't advise small children to visit here!

We spotted this beauty as we made our way to Eden Beach. It's perfectly nestled between beautiful rocks with villas of the Hawksbill Resort close by.

My favourite thing about this beach is the up-close view of the Hawkbill Rock!

With really calm waters, this beach is perfect for an early morning swim!

  Looking for CRYSTAL CLEAR WATERS?

If you're from Antigua, you're probably familiar with Prickly Pear Island as a spot for popular summer parties, but have you ever revisited when it's more peaceful? 👀 It is a small intimate island but the beach is absolutely amazing and something straight out of a dream!

You thought we were lying?? CRYSTAL CLEAR! 😍😍 Another lovely feature of Prickly Pear is the short hike to the top of the island and the gorgeous view waiting for you!

We definitely can't wait to go back!

Need an escape but you're in St. Johns?

Pensioners Beach is quite popular among locals for events and beach parties. However, if you catch it on a weekday, you'll meet up on a beautiful beach quite close to our busy town. 

It's so close, you could actually see St. John's Harbour!

Wondering how can our twin-island state have 365 beaches? One simple answer, we have almost 40 offshore islands! Note most of these islands are just fragmented rocks however, some of these islands have multiple beautiful untouched beaches! 

Great Bird Island is one of those islands! 

Known for being the main island where the Antiguan Racer snake lives, Great Bird Island boasts two gorgeous beaches on each side of its coast! - North & South Beach!

North Beach is the first beach you meet when you dock on your boat. It's clear and calm waters is the first thing you notice when you arrive. Our tour guide for the day complements of CocoVibes Tours let us know that North Beach is a bit cooler than South Beach (Captain George was soo right 😅) 

Another cool thing about Great Bird, there is a nice hiking trail that leads to a beautiful view of the island plus a blowhole and an actual hole with a view of the sea below!

Carlisle Bay is something straight out of a dream! The majestic coconut trees that line the beach are absolutely picture and makes the perfect location for a photoshoot and picnic.

One of the 4 beaches at Hawksbill Beaches, Eden Beach sits as Antigua's official nude beach. Tourists often choose the Hawksbill Hotel as it gives seasoned and beginning nudists the opportunity to be free and enjoy one of our sandy havens.

Eden also has a spectacular view of the Hawksbill Rock and there is a beautiful walk leading to this hideaway.

Located further below what we know as Dickenson Bay is Marina Bay. Marina Bay is quite a popular spot with an abandoned boat that makes it ideal for photoshoots.

Directions:⁣ They are multiple ways to get to the Marina Bay however I will be providing a route from Ancourage Road.
