“I don’t blame the actors and artists at all. They don’t have a lot of say in terms of what kind of self-image should be portrayed – inside and outside the industry. Everything is handled by teams – teams that meticulously study what the audience and fans relate to, and prepare content accordingly. Every pap session, every outfit, every style move, every meet-and-greet session – every single thing is painstakingly planned, and under such circumstances, making a risky statement is not a good business decision. Stars are extremely ‘image conscious’, and that’s how the industry functions. There is no escaping that.
