I should really stop coming here

The other day we had this massive bearded dude, 6'3 linebacker style, walk right in and declare in a gruff baritone "My fairy wings didn't arrive in time. I need some backup wings." We offered a massive pair of feathered green wings; he tried them on (tiny) and said "A little high in the back, but I'll take 'em." On his way out, by way of clarification, he said "I'm Tankerbelle."

I love the goths, I love the middle-aged street-clothes ladies trying something different, I LOVE the little kids, but Tankerbelle will always hold a special place in my heart.

"Here, try it. Isn't the apple rabbit cute?" "Hmn"

Humans also play a role in this decay, naturally. Even quite rotten, dragon meat carries no diseases or parasites. There are delicacies made from the flesh at its most rotten state, though most prefer the fresher meat. The scales, bones, teeth, and claws are valuable to jewelers, armorers, and smiths of tools and weapons. If you're lucky, it'll be your local craftsmen who get their hands on them, and you might get a nice set of bone kitchen knives for a high but reasonable price. If you're unlucky, some company will step in to strip away all the valuables from this dead angel, and the 1% will enjoy some novelties they don't appreciate the significance of. They've never seen a dragon rot, or dug through its decaying flesh with thick gloves to stave off its acidic blood.

summary: 

“you’re not going to sleep in that”, that sounded more like a statement rather than question, and masaki didn’t even bother correcting himself. maybe tsurugi would be so taken aback he’d go and change into normal people clothes.

“you’d prefer if I sleep naked?”, there was zero suggestive nature behind the question and they both knew it, but kariya still had to fight back the urge to tease him about it in hopes that maybe kyousuke would just leave and sleep in the forest with the wolves. he seems like the type to like those.

“i’d prefer if you slept anywhere but here”, tsurugi closes his flip phone with a click and slowly crosses his arms. kariya adds: “or at least changed out of that if you’re going to be in 20 miles’ radius of me tonight”

Drinks all of the coffee

Tsurugi, as I think his tastes are more “adult-like” for his age. Kariya dislikes bitter stuff, so he picks hot chocolate.

Brings up adopting a pet

Kariya, even though they can´t have pets at Sun Garden and/or Hiroto´s apartment. Tsurugi likes dogs, but doesn´t have one, as he thinks he wouldn´t have time to care for it. Then, both just go see the pets at the shop.

“Tsurugi-kun, isn´t that kitty cute?”

“It is, but this puppy seems cool.”

Kills the bugs

Tsurugi. Kariya not only dislikes snakes and crabs, there´s also roaches, to an extent of screaming and climbing Kyousuke when he sees one.

Cooks the meals

Kariya can do very simple things, like instant noodles and boiled eggs, but Tsurugi cooks for real, as he learned to do so in God Eden, for survival, too. Kyousuke knows Masaki likes sweeter curry and always make him eat the carrots.

“Being picky again? I guess I gotta eat both pudding, then…”

“WAIT, WAIT! Okaaaay!”

Starts getting into holidays way before they should

Since Kariya got used to Sun Garden parties, he loves Christmas way too much. As soon as December begins, he´s already excited. Tsurugi won´t admit it, but he finds this cute.

Initiates the couple selfies

Tsurugi isn´t a photo person, so Kariya takes the lead. Their selfies are discreet and you can always notice Kyousuke blushing a bit, no matter the pose.

“Tsurugi-kun, you know… We just took a side by side one and you are already this red?”

“S-Shut up…”

Forgets the birthdays and anniversaries

Kariya. Actually, Tsurugi always remembers his friends birthdays. It´s no different with a lover.

“Eeeh… So why are you giving me a present, again?”

“Your memory is just terrible, huh, Kariya… You forgot your own birthday…”

“WHAT?”

Always ends up with too much junk food after grocery shopping

Kariya, of course. He loves snacks and since Tsurugi usually controls himself, there are lots of leftovers. Masaki takes care of them, ending nauseated or with a stomach ache. He whines as he clings on Kyousuke.

Nicknames the other

Both are really shy, so they sort came up with an agreement. Kariya brought up the topic.

“Then… Ummm… How should I call you when we´re alone?”

“You tell me…”

“Erm… Uhnnnnn… K… Kyou…”

“A-Alright, then… Ma… Makki…”

Then both couldn´t look at each other for about one hour.
