Just a little rant

I saw someone else make this point ,but most modern authors are assuming the reader is dumb. They make obvious plot twists and the way they write dialogue is so simple it hurts. I think because of this it's not challenging readers to actually think about the book and improve their intelligence. I've even come to realize I have gotten so used to these types. I'm not saying that all books have to be a top tier thought out book with no mistakes , not all books have to be think pieces. It's just that all the main marketed books are the same book in a different font.

Let's petition for more unique plots and better themes!! We deserve better.
