existential female despair

!!!!! Sorry had to make this tags into a proper reblog because it's exactly what I think. A lot of ppl are uncomfortable with the implications of misogyny and pregnancy and expectations on women and they obviously dont believe women deserve that, but they've internalized these concepts as inevitable and demeaning, so what they do its compartmentalize it, turn it into some joke to make it bearable, and act it out in an acceptable form like fiction and omegaverse especially.

"Why don't they just visit massage parlours that offer sexual services?"

It's hard to wrap my head around that after hearing those experiences, the "solution" is to pawn off these sexually violent men onto an "acceptable" target.

If a man is aggressive and ignores the consent of a woman who is working in a professional setting with help nearby, what will he do with a woman who can't say no? Why are these women expected to be the shock absorbent for male sexual violence?

Every single time a politician sets off repressions and genocide, they don't commit those crimes by themselves. They have hundreds of thousands of loyal to the bone soldiers and police ready to shoot and torture their neighbours, friends and even parents just because they get paid. You can't say they have no choice because almost every time dictator is overthrown, it was caused by infighting in the government that's overseeing all the persecution together. In Cambodia and Romania people who ended notoriously bloodthirsty, paranoid regimes were the same people who plummeted their own nation into poverty and fear for their own financial gain or just to feel powerful. It's never a group of romantic rebels that break into the golden palaces to stick it up to old out-of-touch kings. A warlord who only knows how to kill gets killed by people who after gunning down thousands of innocents find out they're the next potential victims, and replace him with a different warlord. The cycle continues
