Yoooo I'm Afterthought! Aroace artist and writer. Profile is Lgbtq+ safe, pro-palestine, and anti-ai. (Previous blog name was Corner Cadet, but I changed it to match with my Ao3 account and to keep my blog names consistent) This blog is for my fandom stuff! (Yes it is a sideblog, so everything I like is under a different blog.) Currently I'm the most active in the svsss fandom. But I do enjoy humans are space orcs and the heroes and villains community.

This is the exact thing which happened to me as well ngl. I did not realize the novel was a romance at all until the holy mausoleum 💀 💀 💀 (and even then… I don’t think I was fully convinced until the end of volume 3)

I saw a post a while ago about how hilarious it was that SQQ kept missing all of the romantic implications and I was just like, “oh that was me…. OH NO.”

A Faithless Man Believes by gardengalaxy is a truly AMAZINGGGGG FIC OH MY GODD For anyone who wants a HASO fix... would reccomend. It is a transformers and pacific rim combination. The characters are all transformers (as far as I can tell...) but honestly you don't need to know anything about pacific rim to enjoy this. High-key when I was writing the post I was like "He's technically not the god of destruction, he just submits destruction proposals to Xiang Fei" and creation ones as well why not (ha proposals. like they're- haha like- marriage-)

What was that? anyways. To keep more in line with the beta reader/editor/extreme commenter thing he would have going on, Shen Yuan wouldn't technically have any power to remove things? Because an author always has to choose to implement feedback

Unless Xiang Fei does actually give Shen Yuan the ability to destroy things on his behalf. Would probably correlate to if he was given permission to delete or edit pages on the site that Xiang Fei posted PIDW on?

Shen Yuan??? to deity status????? Hey they were both villain NPCs what else were they supposed to do?

ANYWAYS. Whatever happens in this scenario, I do think that Shen Yuan usually asks permission first. Most of the things that end up being destroyed are not because of a unilateral decision that Shen Yuan made. And!!! Sometimes he makes things as well!!!!! He's just mostly cutting things because that what he prefers to do I couldn't figure out how to fit the "he moreso suggests things to Xaing Fei and Xiang Fei destroys them" into one or two words for my witty one-sentance post... also like "destruction" is close enough? It also has the nice opposite feel to Xiang Fei so. I feel like the PIDW residents probably wouldn't understand the nuance either so it's his title now

I think it would be funny if they started being comfortable enough to share a bed in the summer, so everything is fine for a bit. And then fall comes (or they stay the night at the Northern Palace) and Shen Yuan is just like, "Blanket. You're too fucking cold." (In my heart he's a very picky sleeper)

Mobei Jun just got used to the weird soft bed these people use as well. Now he's got another weird habit to get used to? Uhg.

Xiang Fei has a side gig of scamming people through the phone. He makes up ridiculous stories and tries to get someone to send him money so he can stay alive.

One day he calls Shan Yuan.

After SY is done listening, he chews him out for all the plot-holes and ridiculous development in his story. Like, dude, if you want to scam me, at least make an effort!!
