“I mean… I’ve been better,” he replied, trying not to put too much of his personal stress onto his twin sister. They continued along before finally slowing down at a row of cells. “Are you still okay to do this?” Evan asked to be sure.

“Yeah, I want this to be done, y’know? I’m so tired of feeling ashamed and betrayed,” she replied. “Talk to me, Ev, how are you really feeling? When we talk to her, we let it all go, okay?” 

They went through the motions of getting further into the prison before the guard began to lead them through halls lined with cells. Evan tried not to hold his breath the whole way. “How are you feeling?” he asked in a quiet whisper, still holding onto his sister’s hand as they followed the prison guard.

“Like I want to throw up honestly,” she replied, letting out a stiff breath that she didn’t realize she had been holding. “Are you okay?”

EVAN: She's doing her job. I know it's scary but you need to trust she's doing the right thing

EVAN: Right? They're just being ridiculous. I feel so bad for her, she's under so much pressure

VERITY: You are going to be okay, I promise

VERITY: They are? That's awful! Is she doing alright over there? She's not alone is she?

MEREDITH: It's alright, I can text. Evan pretty much told them I needed a break and marched me out of the room. I really love that boy.

MEREDITH: I'm trying not to let them bully me, but at the same time if they know some way they can trigger my visions and I can give them more information I want to know.

MEREDITH: I want to help.

ANNIE: I trust you, but seriously I still will knock some ministry workers heads for you.

ANNIE: just stay safe, okay? Please don't push yourself too much either, it's okay if it doesn't happen.

“I mean that totally depends,” she began, a smile curling in the corners of her lips, “Are you game to help me out or what?” Verity asked before Annie expressed that she’d be down for them to prank them. “Godric you’re so right. Okay– what should we do then? There’s so many hexes to choose from.”

“Take a seat,” Seb said, gesturing on the grass in front of him, “Yeah, I’ve been teaching myself. Since my parents separated. I saved up for one and worked on it. I’m no pro but I’ve gotten okay at it.”

“Saturday lunch? I don’t think I have any plans so yes, we can do it then.” He agreed after a moments thought on his part. “You make it sound like you know a lot about me that Evan doesn’t.”

“That makes sense, I guess,” Auden shrugged a little. “I just don’t want to get Kota involved in anything that she doesn’t have to be, you know?” Everything to do with the arrest of his parents, he dealt with himself. “We haven’t, no. I’m not sure she’d want to see them, and I certainly don’t either. We’re quite content being a family, just the two of us.”

ANNIE: Hey, I don't know how much you can text, but if you need me there too, I'll be there faster than you can say 'come here'.

ANNIE: Also, if I need to beat up some Ministry employees after this, I will.

EVAN: i'm at the ministry

EVAN: actually no, i'm with meredith. they're hounding her for more answers over here, it's absolutely awful

EVAN: where are you, annie? i hope you're safe at home right now

ANNIE: I'm safe, I'm worried about Ver.

VERITY: thank you, annie ❤️

VERITY: i wish we could be at home and just put on a movie to push through this

VERITY: how are you? how's evan?

ANNIE: I'm seriously terrified and I'm not even there, but I'll be okay.

ANNIE: hey, are you safe?

“Well in that case I am sure we’ll figure something out. Set some time aside for it or something.” Given this wasn’t exactly something that happened every day, Tobias wasn’t sure of the best way to approach it but he’d always been a bit of a methodical thinker so no doubt this would take the same route.

“How about Saturday... lunch? Does that work for you?” she questioned. “Unless you’d rather do something else?”

“No,” he promised his sister. “I want to be there for you however I can. Always,” Evan said truthfully. “But I also think it could be good to get some closure for myself too.”

Annie nodded, giving her brother’s hand a slight squeeze. “Okay, let’s go, we got this,” she replied, stepping through the gates.
