Three years ago I returned from Japan after a physical breakdown and meltdown. The pain didn't allow me to get out of bed. It took me years to recover and be where I am right now. My fellow chronically ill friends know that the everyday fight takes a toll on us. I've been incredibly lucky to have met this community here. Your courage, your empathy and your love for life inspire me and keep me going. I owe so much to you @the_sick_rose_ @maris.piper @shelveswithstories . I'm looking forward to meeting you and spending time with you. I love you ❤️🖤🌌

How was your week? ✨🥞🍵Any exciting plans for the upcoming weekend?

This place is one of my favorite places in the city of Herakleion, the café at the Historical Museum of Crete. An absolute gem, with the kindest staff and the most delicious desserts.

I took these photos last summer.

🦥 So this week I finished season 3 of "Never Have I Ever". One of the deepest, wholesome and most meaningful teen tv series. Did I cry for two yours? Yes, I did! If you haven't watched it yet please do so I can talk about it with you! 😺🙊💕

Also, I am watching and loving season 1 of "Upload". It's so sweet and geeky.

📖As for reading, I'm on chapter 13 of "This Wicked Fate" by Kalynn Bayron and it's getting better with every page.

🎶I've been listening to Ghost and their song "Mary On A Cross" has been obsessively on repeat on my head. I wonder why 🙈

I'm slowly going through my stuff for my upcoming move as I want to take it slow and not overexert myself 🧳🦥

Some things that make me happy are the smell of wet soil and green things after rain, all bodies of water, Autumn, Halloween,petting cats, milk and cereal for dinner, resting, creating, and spending time with my friends.

She kept telling me about how the Tiffany series are very close to her heart and now I understand why.

There are many reasons why reading this book was a meaningful experience; the incredibly profound messages, the characteristic writing of Pratchett and his unique humour.

What I loved most though was Tiffany's character. A girl who had the terrible habit of thinking a lot, someone others perceived as weird and distant.

I truly believe that there is no one way of feeling and expressing emotions. How damaging and cruel is when we label, stigmatize and marginalize anyone whose way of existing does not comply with society's expectations of normality. What does it mean, thinking too much, feeling too much? How is it possible to exist too much?

As Kamala from Ms Marvel brilliantly states: " There is no normal. There's just us and what we've been given". ✨

If you have ever felt isolated and sad, misunderstood and struggling to connect with others, know that you are not alone. I love and admire you for being unapologetically yourself. Keep shining bright! I for one will he cheering you on.

I'm not really feeling summer right now as my antidepressants apparently interfere with my body's temperature regulation. I often feel dizzy, nauseous and out of breath.

It's definitely not an ideal situation as I am someone who loves swimming and am forced to become a nocturnal creature with low energy. We all know how grumpy vampires are in summer 🩸🧛

So I'm here trying to figure new ways of existing.

An enjoyable young adult perfect to cope with this awful summer heat. I can't say I loved it as much as This Poison Heart but it was still a good companion.

The book had a little bit of everything: dead Cinderella, necromancy, women fighting for their rights, queer representation, characters of colour, fairytale vibes.
