So clearly I'm going through a white floral phase but I couldn't pass up posting this image from Olivia Palermo's wedding day. This is just one of innumerable ways brides can make a fashion forward statement while keeping in line with tradition. This and the fact she's one of my top style icons.

One of my favorite looks from Tory Burch’s Pre-Fall Collection. I love the revival of the knee-high socks and what I probably wished my boarding school uniform could’ve emulated. (Obviously never going to happen but one can dream, right?)

So Lara Bohinc's new AW14 collection has revamped some of her traditional design classics by adding this black lacquer onto her traditional Yellow Gold Lunar Eclipse Necklace. What an excellent way to reinvent their classic design which remains one of their best sellers today.

A friend turned me onto this company, Reformation, AGES back. They are a sustainable company whose motto translates into original pieces made from recycled fabrics. I have rediscovered their website and honestly they have the best dress up or down kind of dresses at a reasonably affordable price (especially for a SOHO boutique). Above is one of their dresses but what I love about it is the juxtaposition between the semi-frumpy-like-my-grandmothers-tablecloth kind of material and endearing and almost risqué silhouette.

All white is always a “go-to” for these hot and humid summer days but I love the metallic addition. The NYC Chinatown inspired graffiti backdrop doesn’t hurt either…
