#20 --- Light
As he lay silently on his bed he thought about how he felt on that cold winter night- screamed, blamed, scared. Emotions were high as the task at hand was not completed. His knees were shaking. His mind was blocked. His heart was at a standstill as he gazed upon the screen while the continued to hear the negative voices that usually rang around the four walls of that room. His eyes teary, his soul breaking. "Get out" he was ordered, "If I fuck up, it's on you. I only asked for one thing and you couldn't even do that!" He was accused. "Sorry" he said as he always did. He walked quickly to his room. Tears rolling the very moment he entered his home. His place of peace. He reminded himself to bear with this injustice- he always told himself that. He felt he couldn't trust anyone. He couldn't voice out his feelings, his inner being wouldn't let him. He always believed that the harder the times were at present, the brighter the future would be. Some called him naive, others didn't understand him. He felt lonely. 2015 was suppose to be his year but all he could do is look at the bright dot getting smaller and smaller as he got sucked into the darkness of the black abyss. "NO!" He told himself. He wasn't going to be sucked into pain and despair again. He wasn't going to throw it away. He looked high up to see a small dot of light and he decided, "Never again"neither eyes filled with the determination to survive. He's been accused, blamed, cursed, abused, slapped, misunderstood; enough! 2015 was suppose to be his year. It was suppose to be the year he found himself. This was it. It was time he found himself, his wandering lost self. This was not going to be another near death year. As he lay silently on his bed- he thought about how he felt on that cold winter night; screamed, blamed, scared. Emotions were high as the task at hand was not completed. His knees were shaking. His mind was blocked. His heart was at a standstill- the past felt disastrously beautiful. He'd reached his goal. He fulfilled his resolution to not give up and be happy. Misunderstandings happened. Lies were said. Battles were fought. Emotions were played with only to reach beyond that bright light- he smiled to himself, a lesson as big as a year, learnt.
