I feel like I haven’t been happy for a long time. I wish I could just find someone who will love me and take care of me I’ll be able to love them and take care of them. I’m 27 and I’ve never been in love. I keep meeting these guys and they always seem promising but then something comes up. They start becoming distant or just stop talking to me altogether.

This last one I knew was too good to be true. Nice, smart, funny, handsome. we have some similar things in common but then he reminds me that he goes back to school soon and school means Orange County, which means distance. that won’t work, we both know it, he knew it way before I did.

I just want to meet a guy who’s head over heels for me and wants to talk to me every day and cares about what I have to say and encourages me to be better. Someone who doesn’t lie or cheat or steal from me. Somebody who is just selfless and loves me for me. Someone who wants to go traveling and see the world together. Someone who’s not afraid of commitment.

I just want to be happy.

I found my person. I met him a month after this post. We’ve been together for 5 years now. Married for 2.5 years. Just wait. Love will find you.
