We got emotionally repressed teens, low self esteem, self doubt, avoidant, abandonment issues, honestly probs self sabatoge, but also pretty emotionally intelligent, like damn all the things I relate to, also pretty queer overall which is really cool
WTH are all these kids getting weed from & why is it so easy for them to get weed + alcohol
Even the straight storylines are pretty good bc it’s not just about the romance like both guys are genuinely good, not assholes & not toxic
Bro the adults are fucking useless in this show
Most hated characters of the show are the dads (the twin’s dad + ellis' dad) - fucking annoying take some accountability & STOP LYING

Just started Sterling Point and it’s absolutely amazing
It’s so gay . Like we have TWO main characters who are lesbian and who are treated with respect and are central to the story
Everyone is so well written and just a joy to watch

Everything is so beautiful. Makes me want to visit this Canadian island
went into sterling point with such low expectations expecting another corny het romance show with a side of lesbians with minimum screentime and development but i was actually SO surprised by how good this show actually is like damn. i was so hooked in the first episode that i binged it all in one night.
my favorite part is how all the characters feel so real. i understood everyone's perspective by the end of the series, and i couldn't tell you a single one i hate or even dislike at all. and also the lesbian representation was shockingly really good. i feel like they got a decent amount of screentime compared to the het ships and their development was really well-written.
i feel such a kinship with oona like that's genuinely my twin. my lesbian daughter. couldn't even be mad at her when she was avoidant attached because my avoidant attached self would've done the exact same thing unfortunately.
TLDR: pleaseeee watch sterling point if you can, you won't regret it. and i would love to get a season two of this series & more lesbian rep like this in the future !!!!
