Just a lil doodle of the universal monsters skullector Frankenstein & a more casual redesign of the Gillghoul
Skullector Paintings! (Countdown to Halloween)
With less than 100 days until Halloween, I've been painting SEVERAL Skullector dolls in acrylic so that when the time comes, I can decorate my house with them! Also low-key some of these are manifestation paintings, I painted them to manifest adding the actual dolls into my collection.
I say that cuz I was successful in getting SDCC Lagoona after I painted her, so I figured painting the dolls I want is good luck
Anyway let's take a closer look at each of these!
Oogie Boogie is up first! Slated for October 30th, I'm excited as hell for her to release. Oogie is one of my favorite Disney villains, second only to Ursula from the Little Mermaid. I figured I'd continue with the slightly off kilter coffin borders for each painting, it adds character.
Next Up: Michael Myers! Who releases this week at the time I'm typing this. I'm SUPER excited for this doll, I LOVE Halloween, it's one of my favorite horror movies of all time. I don't much like the later sequels & reboot era from a couple years ago, but I HAVE to get my hands on this doll. So she's the second manifestation painting
Last but not least (for now) is a doll I already own but consider a good luck charm: River Styxx! I didn't add the rib cage corset she comes with because it was a little more intricate than I felt like drawing that day. I think she turned out very pretty regardless, and I will say it's certainly a challenge painting a doll that's supposed to be translucent
Anyway that's all for now! Here's some behind the scenes pics!
I painted SDCC Lagoona in acrylic paint
That's it
That's the post, here's more pics

Monsters, Monsters So Bizarre!
Ok, so lately I've been thinking about how (for some reason) nobody in the Monster High fandom has ever seemed to attempt doll designs of the live actors from the original Fright Song music video, so I've gone and done so myself. At least for three of the main dancers
These were done with the idea that I could hopefully make some of them into ooak dolls in the future
First Up:
Lagoon Girl
Easily identifiable by her ocean blue hair and glittering fish scales on her face, translating her to a doll design was fairly straightforward, she already had fairly simple costuming so I was able to make it more doll-like. I added patterning to her top so it felt less empty, and to give her more Monster features (because this IS a monster high doll after all) I continued her shining scales down her arms. The amount of existing Lagoona G3 pieces I'd be able to use also really help in making this design the most feasible out of the three designs I have for y'all today
I also attempted to give her an accessory kit but as you can see from my sketches, I mostly gave up on that. I do intend to ACTUALLY make her at some point, and Carina Song from Moonspell Magic is literally the PERFECT base doll for this project as her face sculpt and base skin tone match the live actress near exactly
Ghost Girl
Coincidentally the second of the two ghouls seen staring at the main character in the MV. Her outfit is deceptively simple and I struggled to find good references of her costuming if not for the behind the scenes video .
Since I'd be using a g3 spectra for her, there isn't any additional work I'd have to do to give her monster features, as she'd have the transparent limbs. Most of the difficult part about translating her comes from the amount of sewing that'd be required to make her pieces. There are no existing G3 sculpts that I can sub in for her belt, so it'd have to be fabric. She wears frilly fabric gloves, so I'd need to sew them (relatively easy, they're just wrist cuffs)
Her dress appears to be a white slip dress with a netting or tulle overlay, some sort of sheer fabric with a slight snakeskin-esque print. Now I've changed the print since it'd be difficult to find/source sheer snakeskin print at the correct scale
And the shrug would be made out of chiffon because of how nice and flowy it tends to look at that scale
Vampire Girl
Lastly, for now, our Draculaura analog for the MV: the Vampire girl. She's the second monster we see on screen and was even referenced in an official Monster High post last year as build-up to the Katseye cover.
Her outfit is INCREDIBLY simple, perhaps a little too simple. She would, at the very least, be relatively easy to make. Not too many plastic pieces required, and a g3 Draculaura would be the perfect base for her thanks to the ears. The only downside is having to paint her face pale as the character seems to paint herself like a mall goth.
The main concern is her shoes, which are knee high converse. Those don't exist in g3 at all so I'd have to borrow from Rainbow High, which means having to cover up branding on the actual sculpting.
Over all there's 7 main ghouls in the live action cast. I plan on doing the Cheetah/Leopard girl and main Zombie girl at some point soon, though as for the Mummy girl and the punk Ghoul I may omit them for the time being as both sort of fade more into the background in my opinion
Anyway that's all I have for y'all for now! Until next time lol

SDCC MH chibis
In continuing with the checklist drawings , I decided to draw a bunch of the convention exclusive dolls from past and present that I hadn't already drawn
Also before anyone asks, I left Hoodude and Robecca out since I'm not fond of either of those designs specifically. Besides, Robecca will be in other checklists later down the line so it's fine if her least polished design is left out of the series
First up, the last two current era SDCC dolls that I needed to add to the series:
The newly revealed Ghouls Rule Lagoona & last year's booth exclusive Elvira doll
2010-2012, those first three years really were iconic
Scarah is by herself because why would a man be there?
And of course we have Webarella, Iris, and Manny
And lastly we have Valentine and Whisp
I think the next one I do is probably gonna be g3 as I have a lot to catch up on with them
(Old art) Beetlejuice stuff
I found a bunch of my old Beetlejuice fanart from 2024, so I figured that I'd share it all here before I decided to head off to bed for the night.
This was mostly just a style exploration of how I draw him. Rather than try to match any specific version of him I just sorta put them in a blender with my usual art style and this is what came out. A bit of a gross gremlin man but I love him
I really should draw him more often but the colors I use for his skin tend to wear out on me quickly, and while I could switch to digital art I don't personally find that satisfying for me to do
Also I had to have him swap clothes with the Skullector Monster High doll because I thought it'd be fun, and I was right. 23 year old me was definitely having quite a bit of fun lol
If I'd drawn these this year he'd probably have more of a tummy in some of these, corseted look aside. Also I'd draw him making out sloppy style with Wolf Jackson but that's neither here nor there
More VTM art
It's been a while since I've posted anything with an OC in it. Something I like to do with my tabletop group is whenever we have a campaign that we all really like, I'll make a "TV show" poster for it. This one is for our current Vampire of The Masquerade campaign, and is so far my favorite poster I've done. At some point I should show you the other three previous posters I've done. Only two of these characters are mine, the rest belong to friends. I've shown Cora and Seattle off on here before
Both of them once again make their appearance here. Cora wears wigs, and currently has a very 1960's bump-it one going on. She's with her current boyfriend, Dexter, he's an NPC
Then of course Seattle is also in this one cuz he got moved into the main canon (which also means different outfits for him!) he's hanging out with my friend's character, Annabelle, and her ghoul Paul. We like to joke that it's her two gay dads even though neither of them are dating each other
Then we have two of the other friend's vampires
The disappointed looking one is Percival, the one acting like he's 12 is my BFF's vampire, Topher. He's Cora's self-proclaimed rival even though she sees him like her child (her conviction is "Maternal")
And then we have Al, she's the cool motorcycle vampire of the group. And in the window is an NPC that we just came across but is being set up to be a repeat antagonist
Lastly we have my friend who plays Annabelle's other character Maya. She's kinda exited the narrative for the moment but I felt the need to include her even though she's no longer present. And in the coffin is my girl Cora's Sire
Checklist time!
It's time for yet another Monster High checklist!! This time I'm back with more Skullector dolls after swearing off of them for a little bit
Funnily enough this ended up being my second favorite page that I've done so far this year
In row 1 we have the newly released Gozer the Gozarian, as well as the upcoming wide release Universal Monsters
In row 2 we have Shorty, Morticia Addams, Bianca Barclay, and David from The Lost Boys
And from row 3 we have Adelaide and Red from US
And though I've reached image capacity in this blog post, Sweet Screams Twyla and Witch Weaver made it into this one as well

Moonspell Magic checklist (+ Monster Ball)
I totally forgot to upload this here!!! Oops!! With Moonspell right around the corner it felt appropriate to share, and I'm really happy with the way everyone turned out
We've got closeups of course with Layla, Carina, Claire, Rae, and Willow
I had to simplify them down as these drawings are usually quite small, but I'm happy I was still able to get across their key features
And of course sharing the spotlight is Monster High's first deluxe G3 line Monster Ball
The idea of pairing the two was the first deluxe theme with the newest deluxe theme
I'm very happy with how this sheet turned out
Happy Mermay
I'm kinda bummed that I haven't had the time to do all the Dispatch Mermay art I had planned to do this month due to my impending college graduation
BUT
I was able to do these little pen doodles so I hope it makes up for it. I was gonna try to do the whole Z Team but I don't have the time, so instead I just did my favorite ships in the fandom
Fish choices (in case anyone's curious)
Robert: Lanternfish, chosen due to bioluminescence & also being sort of the "everyman" of the fish world. Robert is pretty unassuming so his fish type should be as well
Flambae is flamboyant, so a lionfish was a natural choice for him. I could've given him more fins but I was kinda pressed for time
Punch-Up: Betta Fish, because they're feisty little guys and he's a feisty little guy. I could've made him a saltwater fish instead, BUT I really liked the juxtaposition of the carnival strongman getting the elegant flowing fins
Phenomaman: Gulper eel. Despite not being from earth, he still gets to participate in the fun. I chose a gulper eel because most deep sea creatures are fairly alien in appearance. The exposed gills & glowing lure at the end of his tail are a nice nod to that
Anyway that's all for now 😌
Flambert sketch upon ye
Ten likes I'll draw them kissing/j
More MH Checklists
First up, the new one for Mermay! I decided to revisit most of the mermaid dolls from G1
Couldn't squeeze great Scarier Reef Clawdeen & Draculaura in here unfortunately but I also don't think they'll be missed, their dolls don't seem very well liked from that line compared to the others. And of course I had to include Sirena & Finnegan
Plus I found two pages I completely forgot to upload here!! The Skullector roster from 2024 I somehow forgot to post a while back
My favs from this page are the creature from the black lagoon, Lenore Loomington, and Enid
And this page (also from 2024) I straight up forgot I drew , with comic con Ghoulia, Fang Vote Jinafire, and even Creepro Spectra who's by herself for some reason. This was an eclectic page, If I remember correctly I drew it in the hallway between lecture classes a couple semesters ago.
Anyway here's some closeups from the Mermay one since that's from today
Okie dokie that's all for now! Byeeeeee

More Vampire OCs
I'm trying to remember to upload more art here whenever I have it, this time I've painted a bunch of my vampire OCs with acrylic paint
It's meant to be displayed in one long frame from left to right but each section had to be photographed individually and it took three days to paint them all
We have Cora (again) but this time this outfit gets to be in full color
And of course y'all have already seen Seattle before at this point
Then we have Count Glenn in the center, he's my oldest vampire OC, originally made him back in High school he's had several redesigns before landing on this one in 2023. He's primarily a nsfw OC so he doesn't get to be in clothes a lot, but it was nice to paint him in his signature corseted suit
Next we have Cherri, they're a very odd colorscheme to try and translate into acrylics. Normally when I draw them their skin is a very specific shade of purple that has a very pink undertone, but because of how color theory works with paints when I was working on them they just turned out blue instead of purple.
Then we have Pierce, he's probably the most out there in terms of design for the group. He's got bone spikes and teeth like an anglerfish
And lastly we have Raven who I almost never draw despite her existing for a while. I made her as an npc for a tabletop campaign, and she often gets reused within that context, so I really haven't had to make her new art specifically. That being said I wanted another one of my girls to bookend the tryptic because Seattle, Pierce, & Glenn kinda make this piece a bit of a sausagefest
Finally coloured the sketch!! PDA, my beloved
