Extremely random facts about Charlie
She's canonically visually impaired, after her glasses shattered during the crash her vision began to strain throughout time due to her lack of sleep
Her favorite food ever is Pad Thai
She was one of those kids in high school who'd get mad over a 91% on a test
She's very adaptable and is used to working under pressure, so it takes a gradual process in order to break through her tough skin though it's very easy to annoy her
She avoids talking about her "odd" or "childish" interests around anyone who isn't a close friend because she doesn't want to come off as unprofessional (Ex: sharing her doodles with others, her love for fantasy series)
The smell of post-crash Curly's exposed flesh made her extremely nauseous or sometimes even vomit, so she'd normally avoid clinical all together until Anya died
Anya was her only friend on the Tuplar, thus Anya knows about her the most
Her and Curly used to highly respect each other, Curly would often try to include or make small-talk with her because she's so used to working independently
One of her dreams since she was little was to walk on the moon, she was obsessed with those documentaries about the first moon landing as a child
She normally has a resting bitch face so Jimmy and Swansea always assumes she's angry about something
She's a very imaginative person. People see her as a typical boring know-it-all with how hyperfocused she is, but she'll find ways to escape reality during her free time
Her favorite music genre is indie rock & those melancholic Russian songs
She genuinely loves figuring out and learning about how things function, one of the main reasons as to why she's so captivated by astronomy is how differently the laws of physics work outside of earth's atmosphere
Charlie HORRIBLE at lying. It's so easy to catch a small gesture from her that blows her cover.
And also giving that she's a pretty honest person, she doesn't like lying. She won't be blatantly rude of course, but if she absolutely has to she'll be brutally honest. No beating around the bush with her most of the time.

What Charlie's character is meant to represent:
Because she's so used to being referred to as "the smart one" or a "smartass", when she feels backed into a corner or cannot figure a proper solution for something major she'll begin to break down.
If there's no remaining puzzle pieces in her vicinity then it'll hinder her mental health tremendously.
Charlie is for the people who cannot do anything about a situation that they desperately want to get out of or feel obligated to try and fix, so they result to escaping reality in order to distract themselves temporarily to cope.
She absorbs herself in all of those textbooks to gain any ounce of knowledge she can find to fill her mental pain and stress; and all while her vision deteriorates day by day resembling her mental stability running thin.
