“Not recent, it’s kind of be a long time.” Not really. “You’re all good.” Sometimes she would slip about talking about her wife, but then Gaia would totally avoid it. She facepalms herself in her head for that little slip up. She just nods at her words with a small smile as she continued to go through the records, she’s already had four in hand, and she is already looking for her last one. “Early Christmas shopping is preferable, with the number of people at all shops during the season. So you’re actually doing a brilliant idea. Plus–sometimes the discounts are just big scam.”

“Their eight studio album. I know your brother would appreciate that.” Gaia takes the vinyl record from the stack and hands it to the younger girl. “I bet that would boost your chances of winning.” She now gives her a smirk. She doesn’t even remember it herself that Christmas is getting close, not until the girl mentioned it next. She nods at her question. “Mostly my wife, she got me with collecting vinyl records. I uhm–she passed, and I just wanted to continue on getting on our list.” A sigh escapes her lips. “Though, gift shopping would be very much considered now that I am here. It’s always a sweep when the holidays come around.”

“I mean just any noise that makes me feel like I’m not alone in the whole trying to get myself off thing. They don’t even have to say my name. Fuck, half the time I don’t even know their names. I’m not gonna be the hypocrite that makes them shout a Pokemon character mid-thrust.” It’s not so much as a turn off for Eevee since it’s way better than moaning out Evelyn but moreso a reminder that meaningless sex has always been something that numbs whatever bullshit life decides to throw at her that day. “Please don’t make me imagine it because I don’t want to subject myself to a life without reaching that little slice of heaven.” Eevee pays for her things, coming out with two bags of gifts for her bandmates. The cashier doesn’t even look at her twice anymore. “You right, you right. Someone tried a Vanilla scented one on me once and I smelled like a sugar cookie. I don’t know how that was supposed to be sexy.” Out of the store, she gestures towards the subway with a tilt of her head. “I left my car at home. You don’t mind, do you?" 

“You.. Damn girl. And I thought I was bad at times by doing multiple guys around the same time. Well, less me who thought it, and more friends who react in complete shock.” Yeah, she herself? Had plenty of fun by not being very monogamous, and she was fairly certain miracles would have to happen for her to settle in with just one. “Although, I would be dying of laughter at calling out a Pokemon’s name in the middle of sex. Just moaning Go Squirtle Go!” Was she giggling? Oh most definitely. And for a girl who rarely giggled? Yeah, Angel was having fun with it. “No imagining it, no imagining it! That’s not our life.” Though god, it would have been a nightmare, that was for sure. “Sugar cookie? That’s like... No thanks. We’re not fucking then. We’re going to bake and then I’m going to leave with my cookies. Because I’ll be way too focused on food to even get into the mood.”

𝕵ake 𝕻eyton had well and truly fallen off the wagon. Was that the saying? He wasn’t sure, but the past few weeks he had been needing more and more to numb the internal pain that he was always in. Plus, the physical pain was getting bad again too. Before now, Jake had been able to more or less hide his leg impairment. He hadn’t used the cane for years, and the limp had slowly faded, but now it was back because the pain… Oh, the pain. IT kept him up at night, a heavy hit the only thing knocking him out. That’s why he was in the park so late at night, he had arranged to pick up from his dealer and he had just done that before turning and noticing eyes on him. “What?” Jake snapped, leaning forward a little as he stuffed the smack bag into his jacket pocket. “You think you’re so high and mighty you can just judge everyone? You got something to fuckin’ say?”  

That was just a sad sight. “Come on Jake, you know better than to think I’m judging you.” She said as she walked towards him. Slow steps, not wanting to rush him and have him get aggressive, but she kept talking slowly. Softly. So he could hear it was her. “We both know I only judge prudes, people who are vegan, and idiots who say you cannot eat while having sex.” She teased him, holding out her hand to him as she came close enough to reach him. “Come on, big boy. Let’s go home, and get you to sit down. You look like you’re going to hit me with the cane.” 

“Absolutely.” Teddy replied as he shifted a little closer to the attractive brunette. “Rash avoidance is rather key. Here … look for these ingredients…. used a lot in scented products but often cause reactions.” He picked up a bottle from the shelf and turned it around. He pointed out a few of the ingredients. “The less of those the better.” He chuckled softly, “And strawberry does taste better.” He teased with a wink.

Alison was finishing a meet and greet with a group of fans who had been waiting in line for hours to meet the pregnant pop star. Alison didn’t often hold meet and greets in this specific way, but she knew soon it wouldn’t be possible for her to meet fans as much with the new baby. So, she wanted to be sure she met as many fans as she could before the baby was born. Alison sipped her water bottle as the group left, and she followed beside her body guard, Diego who was leading her through the mall to her escape car. But, Alison managed to bump into someone when she had glanced down for just a moment. “Oh gosh, I am so terribly sorry. I need to watch where I am going.”

Phone in hand, heading on her own path to go get ingredients to make an appetizer for the regular Martel dinner with the whole family, Angel was very focused on actually memorizing the ingredients so she didn’t have to look down every three minutes in the store. Though, that was clearly not the smartest as she suddenly had someone walk into her, nearly knocking her off of her feet. “Whoaaa...” The brunette said, grabbing onto the nearest arm as she tried to steady herself. “Uh yeah, I think we both do. Because there my phone nearly went to hell.”

“I need your opinion.” Dream said to the girl who was also looking at hair products in the store. She was sure that line led the girl to think she was going to ask about the hair products in front of them, but she wasn’t. “All the salons in Kingsboro, and surrounding areas, what are they lacking? What would you like to see in a salon?” She questioned the other, who probably didn’t care less about salons or salon culture.

Dry shampoo, dry shampoo... Some dry shampoo that wouldn’t fuck up her waves... Where...Where... Wait what? Angel was pulled out of her thought process as the brunette next to her started to talk, and she turned towards her. A confused look on her face. “What’s my opinion on what... The salons are lacking?” She questioned, unable to keep the laughter out of her voice. “Like what the hair salons are missing? I don’t know what makes you think I go to the salons on the regular, but they probably need more snacks and tasty drinks, let’s be real. No one wants to be somewhere they can’t get drunk for hours.” Drunk while getting a hair cut? Yes please. 

Smelling like aloe vera had to be a better option than smelling like orange juice right? Especially since he needed  to get back to a session after his lunch break and Tee liked making a good impression on his clients. Somehow he didn’t think he would be taken as seriously if he showed up with a huge stain on his shirt. Maybe he could make a quick detour at home to change before going back. Tee took the packet of tissues from her and tried his best to dab at the mess on his shirt although it didn’t seem to be doing much. “Is it just me or am I only making it worse?” he groaned, still attempting to salvage the situation. 

Angel let him take the pack of tissues from her, figuring she might as well add new tissues on her shopping list for later. Because yeah... He would need a fair bit of them to get the orange juice off. “I think you’re making it worse, yeah...” She said, before reaching for the tissue from him, and rather than dab it against him, she just placed it flat against the large spot on his shirt. “Try to let it soak out, rather than hitting it back in. It’s like when you spill water all over the bench. Let the rag lay on it and absord, then wipe, rather than wipe it around on the bench.”

“Hey, Angel.” Chasity said as she came through the Bullskits theater door to see her favorite receptionist. Chasity dropped her bag down on the floor and let herself behind the desk and sat down in the other chair next to Angel. “Tell me, is your job exciting?” She questioned. Chasity knew for a long time that she wanted to be an actress, there was never a doubt in the blondes mind, and she wondered if Angel wanted to be an actress too and started as a receptionist while building up her stage presence. Chasity enjoyed the other girl, but never really talked much about her dreams with the other.

Angel was mostly finished with her job, just sitting around and waiting for more customers to come and buy tickets at that point. And counting the cash register, of course. But that was at the end of her shift, not while people could still come around. What she hadn’t expected though, was for Chasity to come join her. “Is my job exiting?” She had to laugh a little, leaning back in her seat. “It’s not what I’m planning to do in ten years if that’s what you’re asking, but it pays enough for me to pay for my own place, so I’m happy enough. Yours must be exciting though, standing on the stage and all.”

Ava wasn’t much of a morning person so it was not surprising that she slept through her multiple alarms and made her way to The Grind much later than she had hoped for. And, just her luck, there wasn’t a single empty table which was exactly why she wanted to go early in the first place. How was she supposed to do some work on her laptop while drinking coffee if there was nowhere for her to sit? That’s when she saw quite a large table with only one person sitting there and thought…why not? “Hey there”, she said, putting on her best people pleasing smile. “You mind if I have a seat here? Everywhere else is full.”

Trying to work on her hopefully future book in a bed where she could hear the neighbors be shouting, was not ideal. So instead Angel had found herself heading down to the Grind in the early morning, snatching one of the tables as soon as it was available, settling herself in there. Computer open, coffee next to her, yeah it was the sight of a student, that was for sure. She was lost in the world of words when she heard someone talk to her, making her look up, pencil in between her lips, and look of focus broken. “Huh?” The movement of her lips making the pencil drop, right down on her lap, with the sharp ending, gaining a small hissing sound from Angel as she rubbed the spot. “Uh. Sitting here? Sure, yeah feel free. I’m not waiting for anyone, and there should be room for both of us.”
