Oh my gosh….

IT’S MY FIRST ANON HATE!!!!! 

I can’t believe it! I’m so glad that I’ve gotten enough attention for people to have the illusion that they hate me!!! (sarcasm)

But that’s beside the point.

So please anon,

humor me with why I can’t pull any cosplay off.

You don’t seem to give me a reason. In fact, have you seen any other cosplay I’ve done besides my profile picture? (which is a closet cosplay by the way. I still haven’t been able to start my cosplay for Madoka yet.) 

Sure, even in the short 10 months I’ve been cosplaying, I have some cosplay moments that I’m not so proud of:

for example, my wig is slipping off here and is pretty poorly kept in general. So I’ve learned from this mistake & moved on. I plan on getting a better wig for Miku really soon.

But on the other hand, there have been some that have been pretty successful.

a couple of people have told me that I make a pretty good Rin. In fact, I have some of my more flattering pictures in this cosplay.

Still don’t think I pull anything off?

Is it something about my physical appearance? 

Something I can’t change?

Maybe my facial structure? 

Am I too ugly for your delicate eyes???

Or maybe my skin tone?

Is it my skin tone?

Well if it is, then unfortunately for you, I can’t change that. But that doesn’t mean I’m gonna stop cosplaying.

So what if I may never look exactly like the characters I cosplay. That doesn’t mean I love the characters any less than the person who does.

I have repeatedly said and lived by the statement that cosplay is for fun. I do this and go to conventions so I can meet others and form friendships like I’ve been doing while developing skills that I can potentially use later, especially in my current university major.

So quite frankly, I don’t care if I’m the worst cosplayer in the world. I don’t care how much you dislike me cosplaying anything or saying I can’t pull anything off.
