Fandom Madness

Hello everyone!

Last year I started designing a series of Coat of Arms, themed in the spirit of Pride Month and using different mythological creatures as heraldic animals. I now aim to turn these designs into wearable pins and will be running a Kickstarter in Julyto fund this endeavor!

In addition to these 5 designs I wish to be able to crowdfund enough to be able to also manufacture the following pins and identities:

I have found a very trustworthy local manufacturer, who has already shown the quality of their craftsmanship with the first batch of test pins I received, just look at the detail they were able to produce!

Since I try to support local manufacturers, which produce pins with fair wages and are more ethical than outside of Europe, the pins are more expensive to create than through the usual pipeline via Asia.

I therefore seek to crowdfund the expenses since they would be more than I can afford. Hi, I'm Dian (they/them) an intersex nonbinary person and I hate hate hate to have to do this again and hopefully if this works this will be the last time I have to ask help from strangers. I'm just 500 euros away of having enough savings to escape the house I'm currently living in which belongs to my biological mother someone who has physically abused me since my childhood and is a violent alcoholic. On top of that to pay her debts she has sold the house to a vulture fund. The situation is dire.

Recently I discovered that she has been hiding that she is drinking again (which means the cycle of violence can began at any moment and I'm freaking out) and I'm just so so close to be able to have the money to move far away from here, change my phone number and just be free at last. I have a job and I have been promised that I'll have a permanent contract with that business on June 2026 so I think I can risk not having to go through this again.

On top of that I also unfortunately live with my biological sister who has many issues too and one of them is stealing things and spend every single moment traying to rage bait people to get reactions and with a violent alcoholic on the house you can imagine how volatile the situation is and how it can end. The last time this happened in 2013 I almost die and I ended up on the Hospital. I just want to move from here continue writing my fics and working on my doctoral thesis and be able to be myself.

I'm not sure if I can go through this again and I'm afraid that she is going to try to steal all my savings to buy alcohol or spend it in herself like she has done before.

If you can't help donating I totally understand, we are all living such difficult unprecedented times but if that's the case I still beg you to reblog, share it with friends, colleges, family, anyone that can spare 5 dollars or 3 euros every single euro or dollar counts.

I've been able to go through high school, college, my master's degree in the mists of this hell but my health is not what it was, I have fibromialgia diagnosed that together with long COVID and NCAH are making this very difficult to sustain. I don't want to totally collapse and literally I don't produce enough cortisol to be able to deal with anymore of this situation.
