Today is over!!! I woke up at 6am, worked 8am-5pm, drove and hour and a half in severe thunderstorms to get home, and then clocked in until 10pm (although I basically got paid ot to just sit there doing nothing for the last two hours).

I'm actually so embarrassed about how i reacted to getting called in tonight. Only my bf saw me but I literally screamed and broke down on the floor sobbing. I scared the dog. I have been so completely overstimulated all day. My normal shift was hard, I had a horrible sensory issue that also nearly brought me to tears, and then I spent an hour and a half driving in severe thunderstorms to get home, only to then immediately have to clock back in. I am normally better about things like this but this has genuinely been a horrible day and I really just wanted to go to bed.
