Energy is an actual element here? How does it differ from Lloyd’s powers in the show? Since we thought that’s what the Element of Energy was for the longest time.

So um

Funny story

Rather than a lore-based reason for this split it’s more of a… we-fucking-did-it-first-Dragons-Rising-and-we-refuse-to-change-it thing. This has actually happened several times…

Essentially, because we saw Wu in the movie using the six main elements, me, Imp, and Falcon decided to just make “Greeeeeeen” its own distinct thing from Energy, since, to our knowledge at the time (Dragons Rising hadn’t even come out yet), Lloyd’s powers in the show vs movie worked fundamentally differently. So, because of the above mentioned scene with Wu and our own TLNM lore of there being six core elements of creation (Fire, Lightning, Earth, Ice, Water, and Greeen) instead of four just four, we gave Energy to Wu to developed our own ideas for Lloyd’s powers.

What were those ideas? Well making Greeen (with an extra “e”, the “e” is very important. It’s a translation of a very old word that has no direct translation to modern day Ninjargon) a support element that connects the other five and all others together. It can boost the powers of Lloyd’s allies and has a healing ability to it as well, in additions to heavy ties and associations to nature. And also originating from a goddess of Life who was in a pantheon of… six other gods…

Sketched this out back in like- June but then Artfight happened. Really happy to get back to it and I think a lot of the skills I worked o during Artfight came in handy!
