I hate that the hypothetical of Misako and Koko meeting is so often just used to unjustly shit on Misako because legitimately I find their potential dynamic to be so interesting.
Both have reasons to be jealous of the other. Misako jealous of the fact Koko didnāt have a prophecy to deal with and could settle down to raise her son in peace, something Misako wouldāve given anything to be able to do. On the other hand Koko might be jealous of the fact Misako isnāt held down by the label of āGarmadonās (ex-)wifeā. Sure she deals with her own BS from The Explorerās Club but people arenāt out here harassing her and her Lloyd at every opportunity because of their connection to Garmadon.
Theyāve both faced their own hardships, both made choice that hurt the person they care about most (Lloyd). And I think they would really bond over their shared experiences.

As much as I understand why this was cut from S8 I mourn what couldāve been SO MUCH-
Honestly I wish they had kept Mr. E alive and like, revealed him as Echo at the very end of the season to leave him as a Chekovās Gun for later.
Shoutout to Disneyās Descendants for having the most vibes based worldbuilding Iāve ever seen in my life. Legitimately thinking about any of it for more than two seconds makes everything crumble apart logistically and I think thereās an art in that.
Movieverse Libber lore nobody asked for letās go!
I like to imagine Jay is in contact with Libber. Sheās not a mother figure to him by any means, more like the cool wine aunt who teaches him how to get away with tax evasion and stuff like that. She spends her days traveling the world and sends Jay packages of souvenirs and snacks from various continents. The rest of the Dorksquad are very appreciative of the snacks
Libber was young and dumb when she hooked up with Cliff, zapped the crap out of him when she found out he had a wife. Sheās absolutely uninterested in being the āother womanā in the first place and even more pissed Cliff lied about it. She made a written contract with Cliff that, if she got pregnant, the kid would be his problem and not herās. This is a choice she regrets in the present day, recognizing she got lucky that, as much of a moron as Cliff is, he left Jay to good people. But it wouldāve been better for her to guarantee that herself instead of halfheartedly trusting Cliff to take care of it.
Of course, as she got older and more mature, Libber had the above realization of how irresponsible that choice was. Eventually she got into contact with Jay and theyāve got open communication for any medical history he needs or just if he needs an adult to talk to who isnāt his parents. Libberās not a mom, she knew that from the start. She always knew she couldnāt be the parent her child needed nor the one they deserved, which is what led her to making the misguided choice of having Cliff find the kid a good home. If she could do it all again sheād choose different, but she canāt undo the past. All that can be done now is making the best choices for herself and for Jay going forward.
So back in April I went to Legoland California with my bestest bestie ever @impulsivefanwriter and when I tell yāall I MISS IT EVERY DAY š
