first and foremost, I'd like to say that these are my personal opinions, and nobody is obligated to agree with these, and there is no hate to the writers of knd5.

that being said.

i liked many things about this event, but one of my favourite things were the parallels.

(knd and kndad to mfy and knd, asking them to eat instead of work.) (knd and mafumom, mfy describing the similar feelings that knd gives her to when her mother used to feed her apples.) (freud.)

these all were lovely to see, and i deeply enjoyed them in relation to knd. i truly think that showing these parallels was a good choice, as some fans still cant see the toxic nature of knmf.

however.

the event could have been handled better, as it was sort of boring in the way it was presented.

the event was all knmf focused, which i know is deeply sewn into knds story, but. but, but, but. not putting ena in there was insane, as enas worship of knd and knds savior complex is also important.

most importantly, they sort of botched mfys whole familys dynamic with knd5. they played her father as this good father, good husband. they played it as a good marriage between mafumom and dad, when in the past we have NEVER been shown that to be true. they also played it as though mafumom had no reason for the way she treated mfy?

overall, the writing in this fell short in many aspects, but strangely thats happened a good bit lately.
