It must have been so emotionally confusing for Midoriya to have quickly made friends with his classmates in UA like that. On one hand, he could be happy to finally have peers that dont pick on him and that he gets along with. On the other hand he only got those peers after he got a quirk, and even though his classmates wouldāve treated him well quirklessness aside, he had no way to know for sure.
Like do you think he used it as confirmation like āsee, if i only had a quirk earlier than ppl would have liked meā? And then he only dropped his past-quirkless status on his classmates when he thought heād never see them again, so in theory he wouldnāt have had to face their rejection either.
