Writhing on the floor over how complexly you’ve written a disabled character as competent and capable and desperate for autonomy yet repeatedly stripped of it and seeking new ways to have independence that ultimately require outside intervention to save him from himself… but never because he’s completely incapable and always due to horrible circumstances …. not just the simple “disabled character is actually so capable, look at them go !!!!”
